Paris Vacation Rentals - Short Term Paris Apartment Rentals

Overlooking beautiful Place Dauphine on the Ile de la Cité, the Anjou is a lovely two bedroom vacation rental set on two levels - the ground and first floors - of our exclusive 25 Place Dauphine building located on one of the most charming squares in Paris. Built in 1610 at the request of King Henri IV, you'll be surrounded by history during your stay at 25 Place Dauphine! We have completely remodeled the building from top to bottom, adding an elevator, the highest security digital locks and every modern convenience. Wonderful original details have been preserved, such as the incredible beams from 1610 that are highlighted in the Anjou apartment. On the first floor you'll find a modern kitchen, living room, sumptuous queen bed in the bedroom, en suite bathroom and additional powder room. Downstairs on the ground level is a studio with electric sofa bed, a full bathroom and kitchenette. Enjoy cooking at home in the finely finished kitchen, and dine overlooking romantic Place Dauphine.

Step outside and you'll immediately understand why Place Dauphine is one of the most coveted spots in Paris. Lined with buildings from the early 1600s, the square is full of trees and dotted with benches that are the perfect spot to sit and take in the historic setting. A popular spot with locals for a game of pétanque, you'll even hear the click of steel balls used in this traditional French game. Surrounding Place Dauphine are excellent cafés and restaurants that are popular with lawyers working at the nearby Palais de Justice, which means the quality is excellent!

Staying on the Ile de la Cité right in the heart of Paris - "Kilometer Zero" as it is called - means you're surrounded by all the best sights, museums, shopping spots and top neighborhoods to explore while you're in Paris. You can walk to all of them! Also located on the Ile de la Cité, a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and to see the incredible stained glass at Sainte-Chapelle are a must. Cross over to the Right Bank on the Pont Neuf to visit the Louvre or explore the Tuileries gardens. Stroll along the Seine on the Left Bank to the Musée d'Orsay or explore stylish Saint Germain and meander through cobblestone streets in the Latin Quarter. Discover the beauty, romance and history of Paris at the Anjou apartment at 25 Place Dauphine!

Please Note: The doorway to the bedroom has the original 1610 wood beams along the top (between 5'10" and 6'1" in height). If you're 6' or taller, you'll need to watch your head when passing through. Although once inside the rooms, the ceiling height is a comfortable 6'7"(200cm) high.

"This is our third rental through the Perfect Companies, and this time around we decided to rent the the Anjou apt located at gorgeously renovated 25 Place Dauphine. The website's photo and description is absolutely spot on. If you are looking for a pied-a-terre experience, I would highly..."

"Ceron/Anjou was less than 2 months since renovation and was impeccable. Exactly as advertised and very, very clean. This was the 2nd time we have stayed a Place Dauphine and find it to be a perfect location. Quaint and quiet, yet in the middle of the city. Would definitely do this again.

David Young, United States

"I look back on my 10 days stay in the Anjou apartment at 25 Place Dauphine as one of the most enjoyable times of my life, certainly recent times. The apartment itself is beautiful as well as highly functional with great furniture and all the appliances needed for a comfortable, self-catering stay...."

Views from the Apartment

  • Overlooking Place Dauphine, a beautiful public square at the western tip of the ÃŽle de la Cité

In the Neighborhood

  • The closest food market is along Rue de Buci, just a pleasant 10-minute walk away in the heart of the Saint Germain neighborhood. Nearly every day of the week, you'll find various specialized food shops along Rue de Buci and Rue de Seine that can provide you with any kind of French delicacy (or simply basic groceries) you could ever think of! Some of the shops take turns closing on Sundays or Mondays, which is totally the norm in Paris, but you won't have a problem stocking up on everything you need here.
  • The second closest market is the Marché Maubert, which takes place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings from 7am - 2:30pm. This is a traditional open-air market with a combination of permanent food shops and stalls. One of the best cheesemongers in the entire city is located here - Fromagerie Laurent Dubois. To get there, we recommend walking along the riverbanks past the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral, then taking a right into the heart of the Latin Quarter (via Rue Frédéric Sauton or the charmingly petite Rue Bièvre).
