In the Neighborhood
- Ecole Militaire métro is 4 blocks; 4 blocks to Pont de l'Alma métro. Numerous bus lines.
- The Seine River is three blocks away and right near where the famous Bateau Mouche boat tours begin.
- Open Markets: Rue Cler is five blocks away, one of the best and most famous streets for food in Paris. Pont de l'Alma is a five-minutes walk and has the largest open market in Paris every Saturday morning. Merchants come from the country with wines, fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, pâtés, breads, even five types of escargots!
- You are seven blocks to the incredible Rodin Museum.
- You are six blocks to the golden dome of the Invalides, where Napoleon is buried, along with surrounding park.
- You are surrounded by restaurants that local Parisians go to, cafés, bistros and shops.

- One block to the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars. The Champ de Mars Park is a rare bonus in Paris as there are few large parks in the center of the city. Walk, run, play in 1 of 3 playgrounds, basketball court, go to the puppet theater or just sit and enjoy. Nearby skating and bike rental are fun activities in the park, especially after strenuous site seeing. The apartment is next to the American Library, an institution in Paris, and across from an old elementary school built at the turn-of-the-century.

Enter the piece de resistance of our Paris vacation rental and you know you're in Paris. The living room is a southwest facing double room and has two sets of French doors which open onto a sunny balcony. This room has beautiful, original oak parquet floors, a white marble fireplace, and mirror.
Special sliding panel doors of maple and sycamore were made to open up the room during the day and slide closed as needed, making a separate bedroom to sleep two. - Pin It

The master bedroom of our Paris rental has a large window that overlooks the inner courtyard of the building. The extra-wide queen bed is new with high quality mattress. There is a built-in closet with television above.

Sunny Sitting Area Overlooks the Quiet Courtyard
The apartment corridor widens to a sitting area, which converts to the second bedroom, to sleep one or two at night. There is a platform bed which pulls down from the ceiling on a clever pulley system to create a queen-sized bed.
This room is naturally lit by a large window in the corridor, overlooking the quiet courtyard of the building. There is even a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower from the window. - Pin It
Reading Room / Second Bedroom in Our Chardonnay Rental
The sitting area before the master bedroom converts to a second bedroom at night, with a special queen-sized French bed which glides up to the ceiling during the day and easily pulls down at night. It's an excellent system with weights and sliding track, literally sliding up and down with one hand. Guests enjoy the fact that the bed is fully made up when they're ready to use it. In the morning, push it up to the ceiling.
This is a perfect room for quiet reading or napping, as doors close it off from the entryway and master bedroom. And at night you can view the top of Paris' most visited monument, the Eiffel Tower. - Pin It
