Our newly remodeled 1,080-square-foot Corton apartment can be found in a gorgeous Haussmanian building in the wonderful Saint Germain des Pres area of Paris. It features two large bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms and comfortably sleeps six people in air-conditioned comfort.

We called this beautiful Paris apartment Corton, after the excellent Grand Cru wine from the Burgundy region of France. The location is fantastic -- the heart of the Left Bank and unquestionably one of the best neighborhoods to stay in during your sojourn in Paris. An ideal base for sightseeing, walks along the Seine river, shopping, dining at good bistros, excellent restaurants and cafés.

The standout features of this beautiful Parisian apartment are pretty views of the small street below, the high ceilings and wonderful feeling of light. The large windows in every room feature pretty views over an elegant side street, around the corner from Boulevard St. Germain.

Sunny St Germain apartment with soaring 12 foot ceilings!
Take the elevator to the third floor and step inside your light-filled Paris apartment with soaring 12 foot ceilings and an exquisite feeling of light and space!

The abundant sunshine reflects the beautifully refinished oak parquet floors, cream colored walls, and the shiny marble countertop of a convivial bar. Having lots of sunlight beaming in through large windows greatly enhances one's stay in Paris and is a hallmark of a Paris Perfect apartment.

In front of the large windows sits an expandable modern dining table from Spain, made of Wenge wood and sanded glass, which can seat up to 8 people for dinners with family and friends.

The silk curtains that frame the window accentuate the high ceilings with their long drop to the floor. They are backed with blackout lining so you can close them for a good night's sleep.

An old mirror from Belgium hangs between the large windows and a large trumeau mirror hangs on the left wall, further enhancing the feeling of light and space.

The kitchen is on the right with modern white lacquer finish and granite counter tops. Three contemporary bar stools sit at the counter, perfect for grabbing a quick meal or enjoying company while dinner is being prepared.

Relax on the long sofa and two comfortable armchairs after a long day of Paris sightseeing. There is a flat screen TV with dual standard DVD player, which means you can bring movies from home or rent French ones nearby. You'll also find a stereo with CD player and free high speed internet so you can catch up on emails or check the weather forecast.

The sofa, made for us in Italy, is excellent for catching catnaps during the day and easily converts to two single beds for sleeping at night. It features high-quality foam mattresses on wooden slats, offering much better support than flimsy mattresses on wire grids.

Remodeled kitchen with state-of-the art appliances
The kitchen is a study in good design, with large refrigerator-freezer, microwave, convection oven, Nespresso cappucciono maker, traditional filter coffee maker, toaster and a full range of pots, pans and cooking accessories.

As with all of our apartments, we want our guests to enjoy 'la vie Parisienne' which means sampling the foods and delicacies from the local markets and dining at home with family and friends. Not only does it save you time and money, it also gives you the freedom to relax your schedule and yourselves.

Walk down the long the corridor and next on your right is the first bedroom, with en suite bathroom, high-quality twin beds, antique headboards, and Provencal bedspreads. The large windows provide lots of light and are framed with beige and yellow-striped cotton from England.

The en suite bathroom to the second bedroom features a large walk-in shower, beautiful porcelain sink, and mirrored medicine cabinet. Halogen spotlights provide good lighting and are complimented by the natural light coming through the rows of glass bricks lining the upper wall.

Next on your right is the large master bedroom with extra-wide queen bed with high quality mattress, antique headboard and console table with flat screen TV. A long row of closets is on your left, with loads of storage and hanging space stretching up to the ceiling. We have used primrose and cream striped cotton for the curtains to blend with the bedspread and give the room a soft feel.

Our Corton apartment in the Saint Germain precinct features two bathrooms and a separate powder room.

At the end of the corridor is the spacious master bathroom, with bathtub-shower combination, sink and toilet. A foldaway glass panel gives you the option to use the overhead fixed showerhead, or you can relax in the tub and use the flexible showerhead. We install the largest hot water heaters available which are set to heat 24 hours a day, so you don't have to worry about running out of hot water halfway through your shower - a common problem in many apartments in Paris.

Master bathroom has been completly remodeled
The newly remodeled master bathroom features fine tile work, chrome fixtures and a mirrored medicine cabinet. You'll fine good storage and lots of hooks for your convenience, plus plenty of plush towels to complete your spa-like experience.

The bathroom overlooks the inner courtyard so there is good natural light supplemented by halogen down lights.

Separate powder room with toilet and sink
The powder room of our Paris apartment rental is very pretty. It’s located outside the living room on your left before your proceed to the bedrooms. It features a toilet and sink, beige ceramic tiles, and lovely paintings of seashells adorn the walls.

This view of the hallway leading from the living room to the bedrooms and bathrooms highlights the quality of craftsmanship and detail we put into this Paris apartment rental. We've carefully restored the windows overlooking the inner courtyard to their original beauty and added four large closets with loads of hanging and shelf space on your right, a rarity in Paris. Above the closets are two rows of large glass bricks, which let the light in to the en suite bathroom of the first bedroom.

At the start of the hallway, on the left of the entry door, is a utility room with closets and a separate washer and dryer for you to use during your stay -- very handy.

There is an excellent fishmonger and also a fantastic pastry store around the corner, plus the Blvd Raspail open market down the street. Walk a few blocks from the apartment in Paris to the Bon Marché famous food store to selection your favorite prepared dishes for lunch and dinner.
