Walk through the quiet courtyard and up a short flight of stairs to our Faugeres studio apartment rental, located on the first floor (second floor American).
The apartment is small but practical: 155 square feet and newly remodeled with every comfort for your stay, including air conditioning. The price is less than local hotels with the added benefit of a kitchenette, comfortable sofa, separate queen-sized bed, bathroom, high speed dsl line, desk, small dining table and even a washing machine!
Faugeres is located in the heart of the Left Bank and a stone's throw from the Seine - the perfect spot to discover and explore Paris! Surrounded by shopping, restaurants, museums, cafe's and open markets and walking distance to monuments and museums. You'll love the fact that you can experience life as a Parisian by shopping at the nearby bakeries, fruit/vegetable shops, butchers and cheese shops.
Living room has plenty of storage, TV, DVD and free internet
The living room small but a study in efficiency: pale closets line the entire wall on the left for plenty of storage: hanging, shelves, drawers and even shelves for shoes.
There is a stereo system and flat screen TV with dual standard DVD player, so you can bring your favorite CDs or movies for your stay.
A desk with free internet connection is to the left of the cupboards; great for catching up on your emails or working. An armchair in pale colors sits in the corner and doubles as a desk chair.
The beige sofa is excellent for relaxing at the end of a long day of sightseeing and shopping.
Look up and the queen sized bed pushes up to the ceiling during the day and pulls down for sleeping at night.

This compact apartment offers a small living room and kitchenette/dining area.
Dining area and kitchenette - designed to maximise space!
The dining area and kitchenette use every inch of space and include: under the counter refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave/convection oven combination so you can also bake, two induction burners, custom-made cutting board which fits above burners for food preparation. There is good lighting and every dish and appliance you need to cook.
Enjoy breakfast at the sunny dining table
The dining table and chairs sit in front of the large windows, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a breakfast of croissants and pastries.
You will love staying in this neighborhood where your apartment is surrounded by bakeries, fruit and vegetable shops, a butcher, cheese shops and a supermarket. Rue Cler - famous for its food market - is four blocks away and is a great place to stock up on fresh ingredients if you plan to prepare your own meals.
Queen-sized bed lowers from the ceiling for a great sleep
The piece de resistance of our apartment is the bed: we invested in a top of the line extra wide queen-sized bed which operates with a patented pully system from the tall ceiling. It pushes up to the ceiling with a touch of a finger in the morning and slides down at night when you are ready for bed.
The bed rests just above the sofa at night. There is a step up to climb into it, so we don’t recommend for elderly couples.
Extra wide queen-sized bed transforms studio living!
This bed truly transforms studio living! No more sagging double sofa beds or uncomfortable futons -- a real queen-sized bed for a great night's sleep.
TThe cost of the bed wasn't cheap at over $8,000 but our guests tell us it is worth every penny. Our first guests were in their late 70's and they enjoyed it so much they returned the following year. It operates with a system of hidden weights so you can pull it down with one hand and push it up easily the next morning.
Please note: When lowered, this bed sits above the sofa. We provide a stepping stool for easy access but this bed may not be suitable for the elderly, small children or those with a disability.
Beautifully remodeled bathroom with shower, sink and toilet
The remodeled bathroom features a shower with both fixed and flexible large shower heads from Hansgrohe (the top of the line from Germany), a sink, toilet and plenty of cupboard space. We also provide a hairdryer, towels and linens.

The entrance closet has been plumbed to fit a small Miele washing machine, iron and ironing board.
