Located on the 5th floor (elevator) of an Art Deco building in the heart of the 7th Arrondissement and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Seine. It is one of our most spacious one bedroom apartments, 675 square feet, where you can comfortably relax with your loved one or invite family and friends to enjoy your sojourn a' la Parisienne!

If you're coming to Paris for romance, what better location than here, especially when the light show begins at sunset. You are 4 blocks away from the Eiffel Tower, where Tom Cruise proposed to Katie - and you can dine in and enjoy this view every night from your living room window!

This spacious room has a large window with direct view of the Eiffel Tower -- magic for adults and children alike. The room faces west, which means sunlight streams in from afternoon to sunset.

Living room with high-quality sofa bed
The living room has a large, high quality sofa bed that was made for us in Italy. The sofa is extremely comfortable for sitting and for catnapping on during the day. At night it converts to two twin beds, by easily rolling out the trundle bed underneath. Italian design is remarkable; a spring allows you to pull the trundle to bed level and even a headboard pops up! Families with children love them, because they can sleep separately.

The pretty fresco was hand painted and matches the yellows of the sofa and pillows beautifully.

Flat-screen cable TV with dual-standard DVD player
The left wall of our apartment in Paris has a large flat-screen TV with cable access for receiving several English-language channels. There is also a dual-standard DVD player so you can bring your favorite movies from home or rent French ones nearby. The CD player and radio are next to the TV.

Two armchairs face the sofa, wide and comfortable for sitting in. We discovered them at Andrew Martin in London in their soft interpretation of the art deco style. The colors blend with the beige, copper and turquoise tones of the sofa and of the luxurious turquoise silk drapes.

Antique-style desk with high speed internet line
On the far left of the living room is a beautiful antique-style partner's desk; perfect for catching up on work or emailing photos of your Paris honeymoon or vacation! Our apartment has free high speed wireless internet; all you need is a laptop.

The desk has a gorgeous Eiffel lamp - so you can see two of them every day, the real one and this sweet imitation.

Nothing beats an apartment that is located on an upper floor and faces west. In our minds, you invest a lot to come to Paris. We want you to enjoy every minute of your Paris vacation, even if it's curled up on the sofa reading a good book or watching the world go by, below. You have that opportunity at our apartments. When you're evaluating choices, make sure you choose an apartment with great views of Paris. As one guest put it, with a courtyard view in a dark apartment they could be in any depressing room anywhere, not celebrating a unique experience in the most beautiful City in the world.

The dining area is on the right side of the room, with rectangular dining table for 6. Floor-to-ceiling closets were built behind the table for plenty of storage. The chandelier is pure art deco, with coral colored stones inlaid on the sanded glass lights.

Find delectable foods and dishes nearby at good prices and prepare them for dinner at home. Buy your baguette a few doors way, warm from the ovens and enjoy ripe cheeses from rue Cler and salad.

Beautiful, art deco kitchen with modern appliances
This apartment is popular among guests who love to cook because it offers a large art-deco style kitchen. We fell in love with the rounded, cream colored cabinets and remodeled around them to preserve the 30's look.

Above the countertop, pale cream tiles blend beautifully with the cabinets and a line of black tile adds to the authenticity. The small mosaic floor is classic art deco, white with black borders. We have upgraded everything to make a modern kitchen: new refrigerator-freezer by Miele, dishwasher, oven, electric stove, microwave and loads of counter space. In addition, find a toaster, Nespresso cappuccino machine, Melitta drip coffee machine, stainless steel pots and pans, restaurant quality porcelain and a full range of cooking accessories. There is a large window which faces the courtyard, providing lots of sunlight.

Romantic bedroom makes your honeymonon in Paris complete
The romantic bedroom makes your honeymoon or special trip to Paris complete. Overlooking the quiet courtyard, it offers a queen-sized bed, unique art deco partner's desk and sofa at the foot of the bed. The colors are soft and romantic: plum, beige, pale greens. We were delighted to find a Venetian style headboard and painted dresser to blend perfectly with the plum colors of the silk drapes. This spacious room is romantic but also practical, as we have installed a second TV and DVD player so children can relax while the parents enjoy a glass of wine in the living room.

Sunlight streams through the large bedroom window in the morning over the quiet courtyard. Violet silk drapes are double lined to block the light and the windows are double-glazed to provide a quiet night's sleep.

There is an antique chest of drawers from Normandy which blends beautifully with the headboard and crystal chandelier in the romantic bedroom. A large walk in closet off the bedroom provides plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases, a rarity in Paris. The separate washer and dryer are found here for added convenience.

Bathroom
We remodeled the bathroom to include bathtub for long warm soaks after a long day. It has both a fixed and flexible shower (we insist on fixed shower heads as we find the flexible ones spray everywhere when you try to take a shower) and two sinks. The room is very sunny and looks out onto a Parisian view. Of course, when the window is closed, the glass is opaque and no one can see in.

Water closet with toilet, sink, cupboards and hooks
Walk down the corridor and find a WC with toilet and sink on your left. There is also a cupboard and lots of hooks, making this a good 'getting ready' room, separate from the main bedroom.

The handy location also means that guests can access the WC from either the living room or the bedroom without disturbing others.

Stroll along the romantic Seine or board a scenic cruise
From whatever Paris location, it's special to be near the river. Because it's along the Seine where the most beautiful buildings and museums are located, gracing Paris with their beauty. We want you to live a 'stone's throw away' from all of this. Head to the Musée d'Orsay, the Louvre, the Rodin Museum or have tea at the Four Seasons and window shop at the Grand Couturiers on Ave Montaigne? Stopping at the American Library to read the paper or listen to a lecture? Looking for just that right pair of chic bedroom slippers? Shopping at the Bon Marché and its amazing Grand Epicerie food halls? Walking there along the river is half the fun!

Take the time to admire the beautiful Champ de Mars gardens
The Champs de Mars gardens which surrounds the Eiffel is a few blocks from our Fleurie apartment. It's a wonderful part of your vacation to come here, picnic and relax. In the mornings, you can run around them as the cadets from the Ecole Militaire do.

Our Fleurie apartment in Paris is surrounded by cafés
When days are short in winter or on long summer days, we prefer the wider streets and Avenues on the Left Bank - where we can sit at a café and soak up all the sunlight we can get! The famous rue Cler market street is also close at hand and open daily. There's nothing more Parisian than drinking a café au lait and watching the world pass by.

Paris is famous for its cheese shops
The choice and flavors of cheese available in Paris is unbelievable! Two of our favorite cheese shops are on rue Cler, la Fromagerie, with its wonderful goat's cheese specialties; and, Marie-Anne Cantin, famous throughout Paris. When you shop for soft cheese, tell them which day you would like to eat it and they will squeeze them until they find one that will be perfect for when you wish to enjoy it!

Add a fresh strawberry to your glass of chilled Champagne
Paris is all about food, as these luscious strawberries from the open market attest. Growers, fishermen and small producers drive in from the countryside at the crack of dawn to set up and sell their fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers and produce to discerning Parisians.

Mouth-watering pastries - perfect for a romantic dinner!
Tempting French pastries are on display on every other block in this neighborhood, one of the advantages of staying here. Generations of French families still live here and they insist on the best pastry and food shops.

Add a romantic touch with a beautiful bouquet of roses
If you're staying in Paris for your honeymoon or other special occasion, be sure to pick up a beautiful bouquet of flowers for your loved one. The neighborhood of our Fleurie apartment is dotted with flower shops and there is also a large selection along rue Cler.

The Kiss at the Rodin Museum
Visit one of Paris' most famous sculptures - The Kiss - at the Rodin Museum, a fascinating testament to his work. This was once his home and the grounds, which feature many of his creations, make a perfect place for a picnic.
