Our large Paris apartment measures over 2,000 square feet, making it a perfect home for your stay. Its unique design gives it the feel of a luxury ocean liner of the 1930's, from the vaulted wooden ceilings, to the parquet floors and gracious décor. This apartment rental offers the rare benefit of air conditioning. It was named after the excellent full-bodied wine from the Cote du Rhone region of France due to its fine features and ample size. It is located in a modern building close to Eiffel Tower and the beautiful Champ de Mars Gardens across the street.

Take the large elevator to the 5th floor and enter the main door of our Paris apartment rental. There is a small bedroom (bedroom 4) straight ahead with a single bed, en suite shower and balcony. A separate toilet is located just outside the bedroom.

Walk up a short flight of stairs to find an enormous living and dining room, with stunning vaulted wooden ceilings, parquet floors and a private terrace - simply spectacular! There are large floor-to-ceiling sliding doors everywhere and the light comes streaming in. These features are almost impossible to find in central Paris and offer a rare feeling of space and comfort.

The living room has 2 long sofas and a beautiful pair of comfortable art deco chairs, restored and covered in soft velvet which we found at the Puces antiques market.

By the fireplace (decorative only) is a flat-screen, plasma TV with dual-standard DVD player so you can bring your own movies or choose one from the small collection we provide. There is a CD player for listening to good music while enjoying the company of friends and family.

Oval dining table expands to seat up to 8 people
The long oval dining table of aluminum and sandblasted glass is from Italy, adding a modern look. The table expands for up to 8 people. Beyond the dining table is the large kitchen tiled in yellow French tiles with modern white cabinets.

Kitchen is fully-equipped & very large by Parisian standards
The kitchen is very large by Parisian standards; find a full-sized refrigerator with freezer, convection oven, microwave, espresso maker, drip coffee pot, four-burner stove, toaster and tons of cabinets with all of the serving dishes you need. There's also a small table with two chairs; perfect for quick meals or extra bench space.

Even doing the dishes is fun with an Eiffel Tower view!
Wait until nightfall when the magic light show starts every hour on the hour for ten minutes, and everyone will want to help do dishes!

Imagine this view while preparing dinner for family and friends from our Paris apartment rental. After a long day of sightseeing and shopping, visit the excellent markets and food shops nearby so you can live like a Parisian.

The living room in this Paris apartment rental feels like you are in an ocean liner from the 1930's: parquet floors, wooden vaulted ceilings and beautiful art deco arm chairs. The sunlight streams in at all times of the day. Our Gigondas Paris apartment rental wraps around a beautiful private terrace with teak table, large umbrella, bistro table and green plants.

Built-in bar - perfect for champagne and aperitifs!
Leave the living room and head towards the built-in bar to the bedrooms. The long bar is tiled in traditional dark blue French tiles and the hallway has parquet floors. Four barstools make this a convivial meeting point for champagne and aperitifs at the end of a long day. Relax and admire the view through the roof windows above.

Behind the bar is a small seating area for relaxing and watching the view of the Eiffel Tower through the roof windows. Children love to lay on the cushions and relax. At night, it's hard to get them away from their special corner.

On your left as you go down the corridor are the second and third toilets, each with small sinks for extra getting ready room. The French believe in building toilets separate from their bathrooms for extra privacy.

TV room has a sofa bed for extra sleeping options
Continue down the carpeted corridor to find the TV room on your right. The sofa is excellent and it is an ingenious design which converts to twin bunk beds for extra sleeping options. With integrated ladder and railing, it's safe and comfortable.

There is a TV and a second dual-standard DVD player so the kids can have their own room to relax in while the adults can enjoy their own company in the living room or at the bar. There is cable reception for English channels.

Huge master bedroom with en suite and walk-in dressing room
The master bedroom is exceptionally large and comfortable, with enormous glass windows which overlook gardens below. There is an extra-wide queen bed (63 inches wide rather than the standard 60 inch width), with a high quality mattress which makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning! We have decorated the bedroom in bright yellows and royal blues, Venetian painted wooden headboard with simple designs and beautiful colors. The master bedroom leads to its own en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and dual sinks in grays and turquoise colors. There is also a separate, walk-in dressing room with plenty of shelving and hanging space for your clothes.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds, en suite bathroom and Eiffel views!
The second bedroom is warm and inviting with beautiful furnishings and a view of the Eiffel Tower, a few blocks away. The two single beds can be made up as twins or a dual king bed. They are also pillow top mattresses so you sink into them at night. The bedroom has an en suite bathroom tiled in beige with bathtub-shower and sink. There are two separate toilets with sinks in the hallway.

The apartment rental's second bedroom has twin sized beds and an en suite bathroom, very spacious for Paris. The ceilings are vaulted in wood and have a cozy, warm feel. View the Eiffel Tower form the window and from the bed at night.

The view of the Eiffel Tower from the bed of the second bedroom is especially magical at night in our long term Paris apartment. You can watch the fairy lights twinkle for five minutes on the hour after dark. It's a wonderful memory for adults and children alike.

The view from the bed of our Gigondas Paris apartment rental at night: simply magical for young and old alike. Don't worry, there are electric shutters you can close if you wish - but most of our guests tell us they prefer to fall asleep to the dancing lights.

Bedroom three has two high-quality single beds; one by the window and the other on the opposite wall. As with the second bedroom, there is an Eiffel view from the window and the first bed. The en suite bathroom has a bathtub with a shower and a sink.

The apartment rental beds feature Sealy Pillow top mattresses, wonderful for a great night's sleep.

Step into the apartment rental and the Nanny's room (bedroom 4) is straight ahead. There is a toilet before the bedroom on your right. A small balcony opens to a view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. The bedroom sleeps one with en suite shower.

Pétanque in the park across the street
We couldn't resist taking this picture from across the street of our Paris apartment; there is a permanent game of pétanque which happens daily between the men of the quartier. We caught them measuring the closest ball. The Champ de Mars is a wonderful park where generations of Parisians have grown up. Enjoy the older people sitting on benches and visiting, the games of Petanque and the 3 playgrounds and activities for children.

One of the best green grocers is located next door
One of the best green grocers is located next door to our Paris apartment rental. The selection of fresh fruits and vegetables are among the best in Paris and the people who work here are very friendly.

Merry Go Round in the Champ de Mars Gardens
Outside our Paris apartment rental, walk across the street to the beautiful gardens where there are 3 playgrounds and even a traditional French 'Guignols' puppet theatre! Kids love the antique hand-cranked merry go round where they try to catch the ring. It's wonderful to enjoy the French families bring their children here after school or on Sunday afternoons. When the parents were children, they too rode the same carousel! This quartier has truly retained its Parisian feel.
