Grenache is a beautiful 390-square-foot Paris studio/one-bedroom apartment. Far better than any hotel, it comfortably accommodates four people and features the added bonus of air conditioning and a balcony for al fresco dining. Located in the highly popular 7th arrondissement on the Left Bank of the river Seine; surrounded by world-famous museums and monuments, trendy cafés and restaurants, and trend-setting fashion houses.

Bedrooms

Studio/1-bedroom; Sleeps up to 4. Features an extra-wide queen-sized bed set behind a glass brick wall; living room sofa converts into a comfortable double bed at night.

Bathrooms

1 bathroom with glass-enclosed shower, modern sink and toilet. Hot Water Tank - 80 gallons, the largest available for residential use and a rarity in Paris. An important tip when searching for the right Paris vacation rental is to ask about the size of the hot water tank. In many apartments it is small and suitable for one shower only. In some cases, the owner has put in a 'hot water on demand' which means the pressure is quite low. These are small but important factors to look for when deciding on the right Paris apartment rental for you.

Relax in the open air on the balcony of our Grenache rental
Having a balcony is a cherished amenity in a Paris vacation apartment. The view is out over the courtyard of this modern building and there is a beautiful garden to the side. It's nice to relax out in the open air at the end of a long day of sightseeing and shopping. You can buy the paper around the corner every morning and enjoy your fresh croissants with café au lait - or dine al fresco on warm nights.

  • Grenache

Sunny living room with high-quality sofa bed
The living room is bathed in light, with the original parquet floors giving it a warm feel. The sofa is of the highest quality and converts into a very comfortable double bed for every night use. It's especially great because you don't need to remove the cushions to pop it open and there are no uncomfortable supporting bars to interrupt your sleep.

Behind the sofa, a contemporary glass brick wall separates the apartment living room from the bedroom area. The glass wall almost transforms our Grenache rental into a one bedroom apartment, a rare feature which means you have separate spaces to live in during your stay.

In addition to a comfortable armchair that faces the sofa, the two padded bar stools along with the upholstered dining table chairs means there is plenty of seating for everyone. You can sit back and relax with your feet up on the two ottomans, or use them as a coffee table.

  • Grenache

The kitchen also houses the washer-dryer so you can do your laundry.

Enjoying good food is a passion of Parisians and is the highlight of everyone's visit to Paris, so we put a great deal of effort into designing and stocking the kitchens of our rentals. Having a kitchen with everything you need to dine at home is a distinct advantage over staying at a hotel. In addition to the tremendous cost savings, you also save yourself the time and trouble of having to get dressed up for every meal. And there's nothing more Parisian than enjoying your own freshly brewed coffee out on the balcony.

  • Grenache

Chic glass brick wall separates bedroom from living area
Our Grenache studio apartment in Paris has been beautifully designed throughout, including the bedroom area that is separated from the living room by a chic glass brick wall. The light streams through the wall from the living room, yet it provides privacy as well. The extra-wide queen-size bed is richly decorated in high quality linens and is very comfortable. We insist on buying the best mattresses available, the same as those used by the finest hotels, and we only use the best high-thread-count sheets. We want you to get a great night's sleep so you can fully explore this fabulous city, so the bedrooms of our Paris vacation apartments are designed and equipped with that in mind.

Opposite the bed is a large built-in closet for storing your clothes and luggage. We've also saved space by mounting fashionable bedside lamps on the wall that are excellent for reading in bed.

The Eiffel Tower is simply stunning at night!
The Eiffel Tower is located in the neighborhood of our Grenache studio apartment. Make sure you're there in the evening when it is bathed in soft, golden light. Then watch as it bursts into thousands of twinkling lights, for 5 minutes at the top of every hour.

  • Grenache

The Champ de Mars gardens surrounds the Eiffel Tower
Run, skate, rent a bicycle, play basketball or simply enjoy a slower life as Parisians do on the old green wooden benches.

  • Grenache

Grenache studio apartment is a 2 minute walk from the Seine
We love the Left Bank, with its proximity to other charming arrondissements and its own abundance of monuments, restaurants and specialty stores. We especially love being so close to the Seine which divides Paris into the Left Bank -- known for fashion and artists-- from the Right Bank, where the more staid and business Paris is located, including the Marais to the East. When the sun starts to set along the river, we love to wind our way home to the 7th arrondissement with its 'village' atmosphere.

  • Grenache

Stroll along the Seine to Place de la Concorde
What better way to end a day than to take an evening stroll along the Seine to Place de la Concorde?

  • Grenache

Rodin Museum and Invalides are a two-minute walk away
Walk to the incredible Rodin Museum, a fascinating testament to his sculpture. This was once his home and the grounds, which feature many of his creations, make a perfect place for a picnic.

Just a little further on is the Invalides, a golden domed masterpiece of French Classical architecture built by Louis XIV. You can visit Napoleon's tomb here as well as the Musée de l'Armée. The museum houses the finest collection of arms, armor, and uniforms in the world and is especially renowned for its enormous collection of Medieval Armor.

  • Grenache

Walk across the street to purchase warm and buttery pastries
Step outside the Grenache studio apartment in the morning and walk across the street to purchase warm and buttery pastries from one of our favorite pastry shops. They supply some of the finest restaurants in Paris and you will recognize their breads when you eat at the Michelin starred Violon d'Ingres around the corner. Part of the fun is to try a different pastry to take home to your Paris apartment rental for dessert or tea; an important part of discovering Paris.

You'll love staying in the 7th arrondissement; purchase fresh bread daily from the local boulangerie or walk to one of three open markets where you'll also find fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables and even lobsters from Brittany!

  • Grenache

Buy fresh flowers from one of the nearby open air markets
We love the 7th arrondissement because there are more Open Markets here than any other neighborhood in Paris. Walk to one of three open markets to buy fresh flowers, the best cheeses from the farmers who come in from Normandy, fresh breads, fruits, vegetables, and even lobsters from Brittany.

  • Grenache

Fresh fruit and vegetables can be purchased daily
Enjoy shopping the many fabulous open markets in the neighborhood anticipating the joys of preparing the amazing variety of fresh foods available. Most French people believe in buying their ingredients daily, which is why they don't need large refrigerators - a bit of culture we'd do well to adopt. The French have also mastered the art of ready prepared meals, so whether you're in the mood to cook or not, you can still enjoy fine dining, easily prepared in your kitchen and enjoyed at home.
