Step outside and there is the Seine
Step outside your apartment and there is the beautiful Seine River. Cross the river to the Left Bank a few feet away.

Step out of the Minervois apartment rental in Paris, walk one block in either direction and you are at the Seine River! Cross the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris to the Left Bank or the Right Bank. You can see the rooftops of the Louvre Museum just beyond. A few minutes away is the Musée d'Orsay. And of course, all of the wonderful cafés, bistros and restaurants of the Left Bank!

On the Right Bank you have the Louvre, arguably the world's greatest museum. Head to Rue de Rivoli, one of the best shopping streets in Paris. Just a few blocks beyond is the multi-leveled shopping dream at Les Halles.

Head to the beach in the heart of Paris!
It may sound unlikely, but in the summertime you can enjoy Paris Plage, or the summer beach in Paris along the Seine river. It's less than five minute's walk from the Minervois and is great fun for families!

Experience a unique Parisian experience by walking and browsing the booksellers along the banks of the Seine. Flip through old prints, magazines and books, and perhaps you'll even find a treasure to remind you of your beautiful strolls through Paris.

World-famous Notre Dame cathedral is a short 200m walk
Cross Pont Saint-Louis to the Ile de la Cité and in less than two minutes you are at the timeless and beautiful Notre Dame. You'll be close enjoy to visit more than once, perhaps even attend a religious service, and have plenty of time to climb to the top to see the famous gargoyles.

Ile de la Cité is also home to the Palace of Justice
Two stone lions grace the elegant staircase of the Palace of Justice on the Ile de le Cité. Close by is the Conciergerie, the grisly antechamber to the guillotine where Henri IV's assassin, the religious fanatic Ravaillac, was imprisoned prior to his execution. During the Revolution this superb four-aisled Gothic Hall of the Men-at-Arms housed more than 4,000 prisoners, including Marie-Antoinette and even the Revolutionary judges Danton and Robespierre.

Exuding a village-like ambiance and brimming with historical importance, the quaint Ile St Louis is an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet three metro lines can easily be reached by crossing the appropriate bridge to the Left or Right Banks. Ile St Louis also provides quick and easy access, via Pont St Louis, to beautiful and busy Ile de la Cité, where you'll find Notre-Dame, the Palace of Justice and the gorgeous Sainte-Chapelle.
