Toast your arrival in Paris on the balcony of our beautiful 1-bedroom, air conditioned Montrachet apartment. Enjoy a bottle of your favorite wine and the most unforgettable view in the world, the magic light show on the Eiffel Tower. It begins every night after dark, and for 5 minutes every hour on the hour it glitters with thousands of pulsating halogen lights. Between shows it is bathed in soft golden light, and you can view it from the living room, bedroom, and even the bed in our vacation rental.

Because of the location, beauty, and incredible views, Montrachet has become a favorite apartment for guests to 'pop the question', spend their honeymoon, and celebrate a special anniversary. When you are shopping around for the perfect vacation rentals, having an amenity of a balcony with views such as this can make all the difference in your stay. And, unlike many balconies, this one can accommodate a bistro table and chairs for dining al fresco by candlelight.

This is the actual view from the sofa in the Paris vacation rental living room. Our guests love to photograph the Eiffel Tower at all times of the day and especially at sunset. When you make up the sofa at night into a comfortable double bed, you can see this incredible site right in front of you.

Roomy entrance hallway doubles as an office
Take the elevator to the 5th floor (6th floor American) and enter our gorgeous, 450-square-foot apartment in Paris. The roomy entrance hall features an antique mahogany desk and a built-in closet with both hanging space and shelves; it doubles as an office as it can be closed off from the surrounding rooms. We have also installed free wireless internet and a telephone with free calls to many countries.

Above the desk is an antique gilt-edged mirror that we found at a market in Normandy. A pretty chandelier lights up the room, reflecting the painting of pink tulips on the opposite wall.

As you walk past the desk, the separate toilet is first on your left, then the bathroom, and the door into living room with the kitchen on the right.

Sunlight bursts through to the living room in our Montrachet rental in Paris, making this a delightfully bright home for your vacation! You can't help but be drawn to the large French windows and their awesome views from this high, 5th-floor perch.

The living room is a beautiful, cozy room accented by a crystal chandelier, pale accessories, and a long sofa bed. A comfortable armchair faces the sofa, and a glass-topped coffee table rests on a pretty woven rug.

We have also installed a Carrier portable air conditioner to cool you down on warmer days. It vents to the outside, is extremely efficient, and is powerful enough to cool the bedroom as well.

The high-quality sofa easily converts into a double bed at night. Besides being especially comfortable, it provides a direct view of the sparkling Eiffel Tower.

With our free wireless Internet, you'll be writing home about how you're 'living large' out on the balcony of our Montrachet vacation rental. It is such a pleasure to pick up the Herald Tribune at the newsstand nearby, pop into one of the patisseries for some mouth-watering croissants, and enjoy your morning coffee outside.

Dine in luxury in your vacation rental at the modern dining table, which expands to seat six. The chocolate leather dining chairs are a beautiful compliment and are extremely comfortable. The very best feature, of course, is the view of the Eiffel Tower from the large French door here in the kitchen.

When comparing Paris vacation rentals to hotel rooms, there are tremendous advantages in having your own kitchen and dining area. You can save a great deal of money in not having to dine out for every meal, and you get to truly experience and appreciate, as Parisians do, the fresh and tasty offerings of this neighborhood's many open markets. There's an excellent pastry shop across the street from our Montrachet Paris vacation rental apartment where you can pick up your morning croissants or mouth-watering desserts for dinner. And, if you don't wish to cook after a long day of sightseeing, simply pop down to the Picard grocery store right across the street and pick up a ready prepared dinner; the French have mastered this culinary convenience, easy and quickly prepared in your Paris vacation rental kitchen. So, kick back and relax instead of scurrying around getting ready to go out, knowing you'll always have a seat by the window with a glorious view of the Eiffel Tower.

The kitchen and dining area of our Montrachet Paris vacation rental apartment is ultra-modern and beautifully designed. New white lacquer cabinets have brushed stainless steel back splashes for a chic City look.

The kitchen features every appliance you might need including a large refrigerator with freezer, combination microwave-convection oven, two-burner stove, toaster, drip coffee maker, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, and even a combination clothes washer-dryer.

All of the appliances in our Paris vacation rentals are top-of-the-line, and we supply only the highest quality utensils, cookware, and dishware.

The cozy bedroom is just off the living room of our Montrachet Paris vacation rental. It features a new, high-quality queen-sized bed, and under the pillow-top mattress is a special base that we imported from Italy. The base easily lifts to store more pillows and blankets underneath.

Bedroom has a flat-screen TV, DVD player and CD player
To the left of the bed is a closet, and just beyond the bed is a TV, DVD and CD player. Make yourself comfortable and watch one of your favorite movies from home or rent a French movie nearby. Or, if you prefer, bring your most romantic music and sit back and be dazzled by the beautiful evening view of the Eiffel Tower.

This is the view of the Eiffel Tower from the bedroom. We named this apartment Montrachet after the famous white wine Chassagne Montrachet, from the Burgundy region of France - known as the 'king of white wines' and one of our absolute favorites! Like the wine, the Montrachet apartment has elegance, charm, and character. You'll feel like a king when you see the views from the three sets of French doors that lead out onto the balcony.

Our returning guests joke that the Montrachet Paris vacation rental apartment could be stripped of its furnishings and they would still love to stay here - but of course, we have furnished it with every thought toward your comfort during your stay in our Paris vacation rental.

We furnish all of our vacation rentals with the same high-quality mattresses used in the best hotels, and dress them out with high-thread-count linens and the most beautiful bedspreads we can find. When you're searching for the right Paris vacation rental for your trip to Paris, these little touches can make all the difference.

Pretty antique-style nightstand sits next to the bed
Next to the bed sits a pretty antique-style nightstand. We think the small touches in our vacation rentals set us apart, the things that guests notice when they stay. For example, we always install loads of hooks behind the doors for hanging personal articles, a rarity in Europe. In the bedroom, the wall behind the bed was slightly curved. We straightened the wall so we could position the bed opposite the French doors to take full advantage of the view, and then we created a small elliptically shaped shelf above the bed to put an alarm clock, books, and your reading glasses at night. We know many of our guests enjoy reading in bed, so we always ensure there are good reading lamps next to the beds. When you choose to stay in one of our Paris vacation rentals, you can be sure that your needs are not only met, but exceeded.

Bathroom is cleverly designed to fit a bathtub-shower & sink
The bathroom of our Montrachet apartment presented a few challenges due to its long and narrow shape, but our expert craftsmen easily found solutions. We found a special, avocado shaped bathtub that takes full advantage of the space and easily allows you to step in from the side. This unique design now provides the option of a long, hot soak in the tub or a shower from the suspended showerhead. The beige tile is botticcino marble from Italy, with glass mosaics in tones of brown. We used halogen lighting so you can shave and put on makeup easily and there are storage shelves to the side of the sink and underneath for your toiletries. We install lots of hooks so you can hang towels and toilet bags, something our guests notice when they stay with us. Of course, as in all of our vacation rental apartments, you'll find plenty of plush white towels for your use.

When searching for the right Paris vacation rentals, an important tip is to ask about the amount of hot water available. Some vacation apartments have small water heaters that are good for only one shower, or 'on demand' hot water that results in low water pressure. We have installed an 80 gallon hot water tank in the Montrachet apartment, the largest available for residential use and a rarity in Paris.

There is a separate water closet with toilet near the entryway.

Bastille Day from the balcony of your Montrachet apartment
Here is a picture of the amazing fireworks that you can enjoy from our Paris vacation rental apartment balcony on Bastille Day and New Years Eve. Whenever the City of Paris celebrates a special occasion with fireworks, you'll find it quite astonishing to stand on the balcony and watch thousands of people wander to the Park that surrounds the Tower. And you'll pinch yourself because you're enjoying a ringside view from the Montrachet vacation apartment right in the heart of Paris.

Eiffel Tower is a few minutes walk from our Paris apartment
The Eiffel Tower is simply dazzling at night; admire it from your apartment or walk a a few minutes and take the elevator to the top.

Walk 4 blocks and you're at the romantic Seine River
From whatever Paris location, it's special to be near the river. Because it's along the Seine where the most beautiful buildings and museums are located, gracing Paris with their beauty. We want to live that 'stone's throw away' from all of this. Head to the Musée d'Orsay, the Louvre, the Rodin Museum or have tea at the Four Seasons and window shop at the Grand Couturiers on Ave Montaigne. Walking there along the river is half the fun!

You will notice when looking at Paris maps and searching for Paris apartments that there are few public parks. That is why we love the location of our Paris apartment rentals in the 7th; they are close to the green gardens and playgrounds of the Champs de Mars Gardens.

Our beautiful, one-bedroom Paris apartment is surrounded by sidewalk cafes and restaurants. Leisure dining is an art form in Paris, as residents flock to them to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Although our apartment rental provides plenty of both, you'll still want to visit these venues for the ambiance and people-watching.

You'll love staying in the 7th arrondissement; walk to one of three open markets to buy fresh flowers, breads, fruits, vegetables and even lobsters from Brittany!
