You're on the Left bank in heart of the 7th arrondissement, unquestionably one of the best in Paris. Our Paris flat is surrounded by cafés, shops, restaurants and open markets; the neighborhood retains its original village feel.

In the Neighborhood

Stunning Eiffel Views From the Balcony of the Pinot Flat
Pinot is a beautiful and welcoming Paris flat that combines a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower and balcony with an enviable location on the Left Bank in Paris. You will never forget the view, especially after sunset when the Eiffel Tower starts to twinkle with 20,000 lights every hour for ten minutes.

It is extremely difficult to find these kinds of apartments; we say they must have the 'Wow!' factor when you walk in the door. As a result, our selection of Paris vacation apartments is small, but we are uncompromising in our standards. We want our guests to enjoy staying in their Paris vacation rental as much as they enjoy visiting Paris monuments and landmarks, so we decorate our apartments to a high standard of elegance and comfort.

  • Pinot

    Good Morning Paris!
We believe that a great view is an important factor to a wonderful stay in Paris, whether it's for your first or fiftieth time. Sit and watch Parisian life unfold from your apartment balcony: Parisians taking children to school; people buying their morning and evening baguettes, going market shopping with their baskets or joining friends for an espresso in the café on the corner.

Staying in Paris is about enjoying a slower pace of life and our Pinot vacation apartment and its location offers it all!

  • Pinot

Enjoy Fresh Croissants For Breakfast on Your Balcony
This is the view from your Paris apartment living room and dining room, directly towards the Champ de Mars Park.

One of our favorite pastry shops is around the corner from the apartment, with one of Paris best pastry chefs and delicious selection of pure butter pastries, desserts and chocolates. It's a treat to go there every day or send the children to pick out your special breakfast or dessert pastries. You can also enjoy your breakfast with a café au lait as the apartment comes with a cappuccino machine and regular drip coffee maker.

Champ de Mars Park is Across the Street
Spring in Paris from the Pinot Paris apartment rental! Just across the street from your flat is the beautiful Champ de Mars Park, with access to four playgrounds, puppet theatre, hand-cranked carousels and of course, La Grande Dame de Paris. Generations of families have taken their children here on afternoons and weekends, letting children ride the ponies or cycle around. Pack a French picnic and sit out on the grass and watch the world go by.

On the left is the Ecole Militaire, the beautiful monument where Napoleon went to school. It makes your vacation in Paris so special to be walking distance to world famous monuments, to the romantic river - and to have a wonderful apartment to go home to at the end of a long day in Paris.

  • Pinot

Enjoy Panoramic Views Over Paris Rooftops
Enjoy panoramic views over Paris rooftops from the bay window in the bedroom of your Pinot flat. Ask your children to count the number of chimney pots that they can see; there are dozens! There are so many of them on the roofs of Paris apartment buildings because in 'olden times' each apartment in a building was heated with fireplaces, so each apartment had to have a chimney and chimney pot to act as a conduct for the smoke. Most of the French apartment chimneys have been removed, but we preserve them in our Paris vacation rentals because they are so pretty and unique.

Spacious and Sunny Livig Area of Our Pinot Paris Flat
Our Pinot flat for rent in Paris measures 595-square-feet, with spacious living room, bedroom and one and a half baths. The apartment faces west, meaning it is incredibly light and sunny, especially in the afternoon when the sun sets over Paris. Elegantly furnished, this lovely apartment offers a warm and romantic stay in the heart of Paris. Original features have been carefully restored, including original oak floors and moldings.

We regularly remodel our apartments and clean furnishings to keep them fresh and the Pinot was remodeled in 2009.

Living Room Sofa Converts to Comfortable Twin Beds at Night
The living room is decorated in attractive shades of beige and red-- with striped curtains and pretty red checked pillows on the divan.

The sofa is very comfortable for guests and more practical than traditional sofa beds in most Paris apartment rentals. It is over two meters long and actually has a twin mattress for the sofa seat, plus a twin trundle which pulls out from underneath. The mattresses are on wooden slats, meaning good support for sleeping and sitting. Comfortable armchairs face the sofa, important for relaxing at the end of a long day of sightseeing in Paris.

  • Pinot

Living Room Mantlepiece With Carved Wood Antique Mirror
The focal point of the spacious living room is the beautiful wooden mantelpiece, complete with carved wood antique mirror that reflects the tree lined Boulevard outside.

A pretty picture hangs in the decorative fireplace and small lamps add a touch of light that reflects in the mirror. We found some copies of photographs from the 1800's of this very neighborhood, which we've framed and placed on the living room walls - wonderful views of Paris as the Eiffel Tower was being built. While the old stores are gone, the streets and buildings are exactly as they were built over 200 years ago.

We love the pair of armchairs which we bought at a French flea market and re-upholstered with beige jacquard fabric that has small bees woven into it. These comfortable old armchairs are getting harder to find, but nothing beats them when you want to relax at the end of a long day, for that 'aaahh' moment! The reason is that the back reclines slightly and the mahogany legs are lower to the floor than modern ones, making it easier to stretch your legs out.

Chandelier Adds a Very Parisian Touch to the Living Room
We were photographing the Pinot flat in Paris when we noticed the pretty reflection of the living room in the large mirror above the fireplace. The chandelier is brightly lit, reflecting the hanging crystals and framing the apartment living room - very Paris! Beyond the French doors are the lovely trees, which have not come into bloom - and another beautiful Haussmanian style Paris apartment building across the street. The Champs de Mars Park is just behind the building; step outside your Paris apartment rental and run, bicycle or picnic in this lovely Park in the heart of Paris.

Parisian Artwork Adorns the Walls of our Pinot Flat
This beautiful drawing of a chandelier design from the 1800's hangs on the far wall of the Paris apartment rental living room. It's a copy of a design made by a family run company which was founded in the 1400's; it seemed perfect for the angled wall in our Pinot flat. The company's skill is wooden carving and the firm has been in the family's hands for almost six centuries; this beautiful frame is all hand carved in their factory.

Cable Television, DVD Player, Free Internet and Calls!
Between the two French doors stands a pretty antique table with large flat screen TV and dual standard DVD player, so you can bring your own movies. You can watch CNN, CNBC and BBC to catch up on the news or select from our range of English DVDs that we leave for you in the apartment. You may not have these small touches on your list when you're comparing Paris apartment rentals, but you'll remember it when you get home after a day of site seeing and can sit the kids in front of a movie while you enjoy a glass of wine and the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower.

We also provide free access to a fast ADSL line with Ethernet connection and free calls to most countries so you can stay in touch with friends and family back home.

  • Pinot

Dine at one of the Most Romantic Tables in Paris!
The glass-top dining table from Italy sits in front of the second set of French doors and is large enough to seat six people. The table is made from an old wooden pedestal, whitewashed to show off the beautiful carving. An old clock hangs on the wall, just beyond the crystal chandelier. The pretty touches contrast beautifully with the chocolate leather dining chairs and modern appliances.

Not as noticeably in the apartment pictures are the outlets to vent the mobile air conditioning units in the French doors. This requires special, double thickness glass in order to insulate for sound, but which a panel that opens to vent the air conditioners. For our guests, it means high quality and relatively quiet air conditioning that is extremely efficient on warm days and nights.

Enjoy Relaxing Meals with Friends and Family
It's a pleasure to enjoy long and relaxing meals with family and friends in your Paris vacation rental - especially because you can pick out delicious specialties and ready-prepared dishes on rue Cler nearby. This is an integral part of your Paris vacation experience and when you're comparing Paris hotels with Paris flats, you'll find yourself saving a lot on meals since you don't have to eat out for two or three meals a day.

Pinot Flat Mixes Contemporary and Antique Furniture
Looking from the dining table toward the kitchen and entryway.

When we decorate one of our Paris vacation apartments, we try to combine the best quality furniture with charming antiques and interesting furniture accessories; it feels Parisian but is not too formal - and the furniture is carefully thought out for comfort. We think we've succeeded in the Pinot apartment rental, to combine the Old World and the New.

Prepare Delicious French Meals in the Fully-Equipped Kitchen
The remodeled kitchen has all the conveniences you need to prepare a gourmet French meal: convection oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, four-burner cook top, toaster, coffeemaker and espresso machine.

We have optimized the layout so you have loads of cupboards, drawers and plenty of workspace to prepare meals 'en famille'. And our Paris vacation rentals come supplied with porcelain dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, pots, pans, linen, and so on.

Families who are trying to decide between renting a flat in Paris or staying in a Paris hotel unanimously vote for flats once they have stayed in one. Not only do you have more space, you also have the added convenience of not having to go out for every meal. After all, part of the experience is shopping for your favorite pastry or croissant around the corner, shopping in the Open markets nearby, choosing just the right cheese - all these small things that are part of the fabric of the French.

Romantic Parisian Bedroom in Our Pinot Flat
The romantic bedroom in our Pinot flat is very Parisian, with soft colors, crystal lights and a pretty bay window where you can sit and relax. Stretch out on the chaise and matching stool with a good book or plan your Paris excursion for the next day whilst admiring the beautiful views of Paris rooftops.

The extra wide queen bed is the same quality as bought by luxury Paris hotels and measures 63 inches rather than 60 inches. The headboard is from an old Venetian bench, carved and whitewashed.

The bedroom overlooks the courtyard and is quiet as a result. We have also installed double-glazed windows so that you can have a peaceful night's sleep, even though you're in the middle of the City.

  • Pinot

Soft Light Illuminates the Antique Parisian Dresser
Soft lights illuminate the marble top on the antique dresser in the apartment rental bedroom. We found the dresser at the Paris puces or flea market and the mirror too. The mirror is a classic Parisian fixture on fireplaces, but they have slowly been removed and sold as most apartments have converted to electric heat. We preserve the mirrors and fireplaces in our Paris vacation apartments whenever possible.

  • Pinot

Extra Wide Queen Bed With Provencal-Style Bedspread
The extra wide queen-size bed is decorated in Provençal-style toile de jouy fabric. The silk taffeta curtains add to the soft, romantic feel of this room. There are three closets on your left for storage, plus a bookcase on your right.

  • Pinot

Large Bathroom with Bathtub and Shower
Walk down the apartment hallway to find the bathroom on your right. This is a spacious room, with a window overlooking the courtyard. There is a bathtub with shower, sink, washer-dryer, and shelves for storage. The countertop is white marble and contrasts nicely with the white tiles surrounding the bathtub. We installed a glass partition after the photo was taken in the bathtub to make showers easy.

A large closet with double doors is next on your right with the toilet or WC on the left. The Pinot flat has an excellent layout because the bathroom and powder room are both accessible from the living room or bedroom - handy at night or when you're getting ready in the morning.

  • Pinot

Separate Toilet for Extra Getting-Ready Room
The WC or powder room is opposite the bathroom, which is convenient in Paris apartment rentals for extra getting-ready room.

    Ecole Militaire at Night
At night, cross the river to the Trocadéro and you'll have this incredible view through the Eiffel Tower towards the Ecole Militiare, the beautiful buildings where Napoleon attended military school, still in use today. If you decide to go for a run in the mornings, you just walk across the street from the Pinot apartment rental and you are in the Ecole Militaire Park.

Eat At One of the Many Cafes Along the Famous Rue Cler
Part of the fun of our Paris apartment rental's neighborhood is the famous rue Cler, where you can shop at the many food shops, or simply sit out and eat at a local brasserie, like the Parisians do.

  • Pinot

Mouth-watering pastries on display on every corner
Pastry is a passion in Paris and you'll find a number of patisseries within a few blocks of our Pinot apartment rental. Suprise your family and friends with mother-watering temptations or enjoy watching your children pick out their favorite desserts for lunch and dinner.

  • Pinot

Buy fresh bread daily from the nearby bakery
When you're searching for a beautiful flat in Paris consider those that are located on upper floors and offer features such as balconies and views. You will enjoy coming home after a long day of site seeing and shopping and save substantially by eating a few meals at home. You can shop at the famous rue Cler market street or in one of the three large open markets nearby - for the best breads, patisseries, meats and fish, produce, cheese, wines and even pre-prepared meals.

Flowers From the Nearby Avenue de Saxe Open Market
We saw the most beautiful flowers starting to bloom one morning when we went for a walk in the Avenue de Saxe Open Market, just a few blocks from the Pinot flat rental - and literally behind the Ecole Militaire. They were irresistible and a very good price because there is so much competition in the open markets. Some neighborhoods have lost the charm of the numerous food and flower stores as rents have gone up. It's one of the things that makes staying in the 7th arrondissement so special - all of the food shops, the everyday merchants that make life so Parisian.

Pinot flat is in the same neighborhood as the Rodin Museum
Visit one of Paris' most famous sculptures - The Kiss - at the Rodin Museum, a fascinating testament to his work. This was once his home and the grounds, which feature many of his creations, make a perfect place for a picnic.
