The Pouilly apartment overlooks Yves St. Laurent's early showroom below. We don't know who lives in the apartment below, with small terrace now, but it's fun to imagine. A small but important fact is that it doesn't face imposing buildings that block the sunlight directly in front of you. You enjoy views over this elegant and popular quartier, an unusual benefit.

After taking the elevator to the 6th floor and entering the apartment, you are drawn into the large front living room/dining area to your right by lots of natural light streaming in through its two sets of French windows. You'll then immediately experience the full impact of the extensive renovation that went into this unique 495-square-foot property, transforming it from an attic alcove into an open and sun-splashed modern marvel that takes full advantage of its south-east orientation. From the original and highly polished oak floors to the white paint on its expansive walls and high ceiling, the natural light envelops the room and highlights the many black accents of its thoroughly modern furnishings.

Our Pouilly apartment in Paris is a delightfully chic one-bedroom property perched high above the rooftops in the heart of the Left Bank's lively 7th arrondissement. It is within easy walking distance to the river Seine, the Eiffel Tower, and the Invalides, as well as surrounded by excellent open markets, chic designer shops, and fabulous bistros, cafés, and restaurants.

Pouilly easily sleeps four people in modern luxury, its sleek surroundings providing contemporary Parisian flair in an open and airy setting. We named it after the pale and delicate dry white wine made from the Chardonnay grape that gained fame for its extraordinary freshness and vivacity.

You'll love kicking back after a long day of sightseeing in this large front room. Once you're able to tear yourself away from the beautiful views out over the rooftops and the fine architecture of the surrounding neighborhood, you can sit back and relax on the comfortable sofa or the modern leather armchair. You can watch a number of English channels on the flat-screen TV or slip a movie into the dual-standard DVD player. So, since this front room doubles as a second bedroom, we outfitted it with an extremely comfortable sleeper sofa that converts into two single beds. The trundle bed underneath easily pulls out and rises to the same height as the sofa, and the high-quality mattresses ensure a perfect night's sleep. You'll find lots of storage space for your belongings and luggage in the large bank of built-in closets on the far wall, which also houses the high-thread-count linens to make up the beds. With fashionable bedside tables and lighting for reading in bed, many may hope for the short straw when choosing where to sleep.

With two modern lamps on the bedside tables, you can fall back into the lush pillows and enjoy a good read.

The Eiffel Tower is located in the neighborhood of our Pouilly apartment. Make sure you're there in the evening when it is bathed in soft, golden light. Then watch as it bursts into thousands of twinkling lights, for 5 minutes at the top of every hour.

Our Pouilly apartment for rent in Paris is located near the Champs de Mars park and the Eiffel Tower, where there are plenty of attractions to keep the children entertained. The park offers four different playgrounds, a merry go round, and even bicycle rentals. On some days you may find peddle car courses set up for the little ones or even pony rides. It's also a great place for adults to stroll or jog, and there are acres of beautiful grass to picnic on!
