When you step out onto this expansive balcony, you'll feel like you're on top of the world - what a treasure for your stay! There is an iron bench to sit on and enjoy the sunrise over Paris rooftops and the view of the Invalides dome in the distance. There is also a round bistro table and chairs to seat four for dining al fresco on sunny days. You can see how close it is and, in fact, many of Paris' most famous attractions are within easy walking distance, as the apartment is centrally located in the popular and lively 7th arrondissement - the Eiffel Tower or Grande Dame de Paris is four blocks away, Ecole Militaire is three blocks, the romantic Seine river is five blocks and chic stores and restaurants that locals enjoy are all around you. You don't feel like you're a tourist when you stay in one of our rentals, because you are living like a Parisian in the heart of Paris.

Charming entryway of our Syrah vacation apartment
Situated on the 5th floor (6th American) of a charming turn-of-the-century building, this cozy 500-square-foot rooftop property faces east for bright morning sunshine.

Step off the elevator and enter our Paris apartment rental to a small entryway. Immediately to the left is the water closet housing the toilet, straight ahead is the door to the bedroom and its en-suite bathroom, and the door to the right leads you into the large front room where you'll find the living room, dining area, and kitchen.

The sun-splashed living room is decorated in fresh yellows, with a pretty fresco that highlights the Provencal colors. Three sets of French doors along the front of the apartment are framed with pretty, floor-to-ceiling drapes, which easily pull aside to allow access to the long, wide balcony overlooking the street.

The sofa is perfect for napping during the day, and easily converts into two single beds at night. Two beige chairs covered in velvet polka dots add a touch of whimsical elegance.

Syrah has been totally remodeled and exquisitely decorated
We named this charming Paris apartment rental Syrah for the grapes that grow in the northern part of Côtes du Rhône. The Syrah grapes make excellent and very robust red wines, so it is the perfect name for this superb and extremely fulfilling one-bedroom Paris apartment that sleeps four. We totally remodeled, exquisitely decorated, and finely furnished Syrah to take full advantage of the sun streaming in through three sets of French doors into the living room, dining area, and kitchen.

You'll find a dishwasher, combination washer-dryer, full-size refrigerator with freezer, combination microwave-convection oven, four-burner stove top, drip coffee maker, cappuccino machine, and toaster. We also provide all of the cooking utensils, flatware, and stemware you'll need, and the white porcelain dishes are from the store that supplies the best restaurants in Paris.

Having a kitchen and dining area is one of the greatest advantages of renting a Paris apartment over a hotel room. You'll save a tremendous amount of money in not having to dine out every meal (where a glass of Coke in a restaurant can cost $15), as well as a great deal of time and effort in not having to dress up. You can enjoy eating with family and friends in the comfort of your own apartment after enjoying the experience of visiting the many open markets nearby. And, the French have mastered the art of ready-prepared dishes and foods, so you don't even have to cook to enjoy great cuisine. The bedroom is off the entryway, just to the right as you enter the apartment. It is compact but very darling, with a large window overlooking the inner courtyard and an en-suite bathroom at the far end. You'll find the water closet housing the toilet conveniently located just outside the bedroom.

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a high quality mattress - the very best available! And, we use only the very best high-thread-count linens and quality bedspreads, ensuring you'll have a great night's sleep and wake refreshed for your next day's activities. The antique wooden headboard adds an elegant touch, as does the nightstand, an old architectural support of bronze that we found in England.

There is also a large closet where you can store all of your belongings, as well as the beautiful old desk where you can pen postcards to your friends back home. It won't be difficult telling them how glorious it is staying in our Syrah apartment in Paris!

Breakfast in bed?
Paris is made for romance, so why not treat your loved one to breakfast in bed? It's so easy and convenient to hop in the elevator and buy fresh warm croissants from across the street, fresh fruits from the shop next door, and pick up the paper at the nearby newsstand. Your freshly brewed coffee will then be ready so you can lay back in utter relaxation on the large and comfortable bed.

Adding to your ambiance are the pictures decorating your walls: copies of French fashion ads from the 1930s that add soft touches of peach and burgundy.

From the entryway, find the toilet or water closet on your immediate left. It is accessible from the living room and the bedroom, and is very handy when everyone is getting ready to go out.

Syrah apartment is walking distance to the Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is located in the neighborhood of our Syrah apartment. Make sure you're there in the evening when it is bathed in soft, golden light. Then watch as it bursts into thousands of twinkling lights, for 5 minutes at the top of every hour.

Children and adults love the nearby Champ de Mars park
This beautiful carousel is located in the Champ du Mars gardens, just a few blocks from our Syrah Paris vacation apartment. See the base of the Eiffel Tower in the background? Having such a large park so close is a rare amenity in Paris as there are few large open green spaces near most Paris short term apartment rentals. There are four different playgrounds, mini-car tracks set up for kids, a puppet theater to keep them entertained, and a bike rental. It's also great for taking a leisurely stroll after dinner and joining the crowd below the Eiffel Tower when it first lights up in the evening.

The Seine river is a short ten minute walk from your Paris apartment rental. Stroll along the banks at sunset or board a romantic dinner cruise.

Your apartment is surrounded by excellent cafés

Beautiful flowers are in abundance in the open markets and flower shops dotted around the neighborhood. Be sure to pick some for your dining table centerpiece or simply to spread a little fragrance and colour around the room.

Mouth-watering pastries can be found on nearly every corner
Pastry is a passion here, and you'll find a number of patisseries within a few blocks of our apartment rental, close enough to pop out every morning so you can surprise your house mates with mouth-watering temptations. Children especially love to pick out their own desserts, and no meal in Paris is complete without freshly baked baguettes.
