Our 'Tavel' Paris rental begins to impress as soon as you approach the building. The front door opens automatically when you enter the security code, and beautiful faux marble paintings adorn the inner walls. As you enter the inner courtyard you're greeted with a pretty garden at the back, which the bedroom overlooks. Ride the modern glass elevator up to the fourth floor, and just when you think your accommodations couldn't be any better, you enter Tavel and are immediately struck by the quality of the finish - it's absolutely gorgeous! You enter our Paris rental to an entrance hall, off of which is the powder room, living room, kitchen, and short hall to the bathroom and bedroom. Elegant halogen lights operate with a motion detector, so they automatically turn on as you walk down the hall.

Situated on the 4th floor (5th American) of an elegant building, this large 640-square-foot property is located only a few steps away from the famous rue Cler market street in the very heart of the 7th arrondissement, surrounding you with shops, trendy restaurants, patisseries, and more.

We have totally remodeled, exquisitely decorated, and finely furnished Tavel to take full advantage of the sun streaming in through three sets of French doors in the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The large living room has two comfortable sofas and a gorgeous armchair; relax here after a long day of sightseeing in Paris. The long sofa facing the windows is a feature in many of our Paris apartments; it is custom made for us and converts to two separate single beds at night. There is a built-in desk on the left hand wall where you can access our free internet.

We furnished the dining area of our Tavel Paris apartment rental with a round sand-blasted glass table from Spain and mixed it with old pictures and a pretty mirror. The table provides comfortable seating for four people. The kitchen is next door and offers lots of counter space for preparing gourmet feasts from your purchases on rue Cler!

Having a kitchen and a dining area are among the many advantages of staying in a Paris apartment rental, as you don't have to go out for every meal. The French have mastered the art of ready-prepared dishes and foods, so you don't even have to cook to enjoy great French cuisine. Our guests tell us that shopping for freshly baked croissants and desserts at the patisserie is one of the highlights of their visit! Dining chez soi represents the biggest savings of all, because paying for three meals a day in Paris (yes all hotels charge for simple breakfasts) can really add up - especially when restaurants charge up to $15 for a glass of Coke. When you shop in our local markets for pre-prepared dishes and fresh ingredients, you will save significantly - and enjoy 3 star dining in lovely surroundings in our apartments.

Our Paris rental also features high-speed Internet access so you can download emails and work while enjoying your special time in Paris.

Find a full-size refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, convection oven, lots of cupboards and counter space for food preparation. There is a glass table in front of the large windows and 2 designer chairs to enjoy breakfast or dining à deux.

Enjoy pretty views as you sip your morning coffee at the built-in glass breakfast table, overlooking rue de Grenelle and rue Valadon. With the famous rue Cler pedestrian street around the corner, you will delight in stepping out for fresh croissants and baguettes every morning, still warm from the oven. Rue Cler is among the most famous market streets in Paris and features some of the best greengrocers, patisseries, delicatessens, wine merchants, cheese merchants, fish shops, butchers, and even health food stores in Paris.

An important note: all of our apartments are fitted with the highest quality double-glazed windows available, the same quality as luxury hotels use. Even though Paris is a bustling city, you will find our Paris apartment rentals very quiet.

A flower stall on rue Cler, just a block from our Paris apartment. We can't resist shopping for fresh flowers on rue Cler, where the competition keeps prices down. We tell the florists that the flowers are pour offrir so each bouquet is lovingly wrapped and ribboned to perfection.

Davoli is on rue Cler, two blocks from our Tavel Paris apartment. This is our favorite charcuterie (delicatessen) on rue Cler; people line up on Sunday mornings to buy Sunday charcroute in the winter. We have tried a lot and most Parisians say it is the best in Paris. We even buy it to take to London when the weather is cold and serve for dinner parties among our French friends.
