My husband and I dated for 8 years before he took me on a romantic gondola ride to propose. He never gave a hint that he was going to do it. He planned the ride abs insisted on bringing a backpack. I thought nothing of it so I just went along for the ride. Part of the way through the ride he pulled out a beautifully made picture book of some of our dates. The last page mentioned about being with him forever and that's when he proposed.
