Our neighborhood has more open markets than any arrondissement in Paris: the famous rue Cler, the Pont de l’Alma market, the rue de Saxe open market and the rue de Grenelle market. You can enjoy shopping for ready-made gourmet dishes from them or for all of the freshest ingredients to make your own. Our rental prices include everything: linens, heating and all utilities, free high speed internet access: everything except your personal phone calls. An important differentiation at www.parisperfect.com is that we own or manage our own apartments and do not offer them out to other agencies. This means you are assured that they are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards because they belong to us. Our guests frequently tell us that our apartments are nicer than our pictures and that we should photograph them again or have a professional photograph them. But we prefer it this way; the only surprise we want you to have when you walk in will be from squeals of delight at the apartment – and not the kind we have heard about elsewhere.

When you arrive, we want your vacation to start off on a high note. To us that means being met by a friendly person who speaks fluent English and a warm welcome at your apartment. We have our own staff of employees who are located nearby and are there to help in any way. They will walk you through all of the appliances, answer questions, explain how everything works from washing machines to tv’s, microwaves and dvd players -- and spend the time with you to get you acclimated. You want to be shown how to operate every single appliance and to be given the time answer every question you have. You want your apartment to have been thoroughly cleaned by caring staff and who are located nearby to make any changes or adjustments. You want someone who can answer all of your questions, big and small -- including ones about the neighborhood, babysitting, shopping, a special evening out – everything! You want an apartment ‘bible’ to refer to in clear English for how to operate everything. That is what we do and why our guests come back to us time and again.

These are our own apartments which we own or lease and remodel; that means we take care of them to the highest standard and you don’t have to go through agencies, distant owners, etc if you need something done. Early on, we decided not to represent other people’s apartments even if we could earn more in doing so. It’s simply too difficult to negotiate and too difficult to manage for our guests: many owners have different ideas about what they consider suitable in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and level of furnishings (‘Mais pourquoi? I think my futon sofa is very comfortable; people won’t notice if we have had pets stay here…people won’t mind if the last guest smoked a little; we do not want to replace the mattress …etc etc.’). You won’t notice many of these details on a website, but you will when you arrive – so we have chosen to differentiate ourselves by being smaller but offering the best apartments in a neighborhood that we love. In our view, you can’t do a good job if you are running all over Paris to represent other apartments; you certainly can’t take the time to see that each one is properly maintained or to know the neighborhood itself. Someone is on staff seven days a week to answer any questions or help if there are any emergencies – they can make most repairs on the spot or call one of our builders asap. There is no waiting for an agency to call you back or permissions required from a distant owner. It costs more to own or lease our own apartments and to employ our own team, but for you it is worth it. Small details count; when you arrive we offer a small welcome basket with a snack, a nice bottle of wine, large bottle of water, orange juice and milk to get you started.. We provide a starter pack of Nespresso coffee capsules for the cappuccino machine, soap tablets for the washing machine and dishwasher, luxury shampoo, body cream and soap for your personal use.

The views from our apartments are the icing on the cake and worth more than money can buy. We love our apartments; we have worked long and hard to find them, invested substantially to remodel them. We love our neighborhood and we love sharing the delight of living in Paris with our guests. That is the immeasurable difference.

We write an instruction book in simple English for all of the appliances in the apartment so you to have it on hand to refer to. There is no frustration trying to locate and translate a stack of French instruction manuals. After you have reserved with us, we will email you a 40 page information packet which includes detailed information about the apartment, its location, access from the airport and train, apartment address and how to pronounce it in French, even a map and French instructions to show your taxi driver at the airport, the phone number, bus and metro access as well as tons of wonderful information about the streets in our neighborhood -- from our favorite restaurants to the four open markets nearby, to our favorite grocery stores, bakers, patisserie shops, cheese shops, fish shops, fruit stands, etc. Our guests love the anecdotes about our local merchants who we have known for decades. They tell us they can hit the ground running and begin to savor every moment of planning and finally, their stay with us in Paris.

When you arrive, you are met at the apartment by a friendly member of our staff and the keys. They speak fluent English and will take the time you need to explain how everything works, including electric appliances, washer/dryer, tv, dvd, etc – and answer any questions you have about the neighborhood.
