Description of our Paris luxury apartment rental

Step into the turn-of-the-century classic Parisian apartment building and take the elevator to the cherished 5th floor. Walk into our Paris apartment rental to a breathtaking view from four sets of French doors and balcony. The Eiffel Tower, ‘La Grande Dame de Paris’ is straight ahead of you!

All the features in our Paris luxury apartment are spectacular, but it’s hard to take yourself away from the balcony and view. You will find two large bedrooms, air conditioning, a spacious double living and dining room, a large kitchen, bathroom with double sinks, bathtub with shower and separate powder room. There is air conditioning for those warm days and nights in Paris. The Côte de Nuits luxury Paris apartment rental is a warm and inviting home in one of the most popular arrondissements in Paris and sleeps up to six people.

Enter this luxury Paris apartment on the cherished fifth floor (yes there is an elevator) of a Haussmanian building. The spacious entry leads to the living room on your right. This luxurious, sun-filled room has a long balcony and west facing view – wonderful for lazing around in the afternoon and simply enjoying your special time with family and friends. There are three sets of French doors which open onto this long balcony, with direct view on the Eiffel Tower, making this a most desirable luxury apartment in Paris.

Air Conditioning and free high speed Internet: We have installed air conditioning in the living room/dining room and in master bedroom. Our guests tell us they rarely need it thanks to the excellent cross ventilation, but it’s a nice feature to offer. We provide fans for each apartment rental room as well. We also provide a free high speed Internet line with ethernet cable.

The living room is completely Parisien: tall French doors opening onto a long balcony, original fireplace, herringbone parquet floors and moldings in a grand Haussmanian building. The double living room features two long sofas at the room end, covered in a khaki colored tweed. We found a manufacturer of stylish and comfortable armchairs in Belgium and had the chairs covered in pink polka dots – a delightful touch which blends beautifully with the furniture, the silk curtains and chocolate browns of the leather coffee table. Above all, the effect is comfort and luxury for your stay in Paris. It is simply wonderful to relax in and come home to every day.

The long sofa converts to two separate twin beds at night and was made for us in Italy; it is the best style we have ever found. The technology is excellent engineering: the sofa seat extends to full twin bed width and a second twin bed slides out from underneath with even a headboard that pulls up to raise the legs. Our guests love having the flexibility of two single beds in the living room, comfortable for every night sleeping. We prefer these long sofas to regular hide-a-beds because you can stretch out and catnap during the day – and have two separate beds for flexibility at night. Sit on the far sofa and enjoy the front seat view, day and night. Our silk curtains have blackout lining, but guests tell us they prefer to look out and enjoy the view until they fall asleep. The spacious, sunny living room is excellent for enjoying the company of friends in beautiful and comfortable surroundings and simply enjoy your time together, all part of a memorable vacation.

An important note: all of our French doors and windows have been replaced with the highest quality double glazing that is available, the kind used by luxury hotels. While you are in the middle of a bustling city, the Paris apartment is quiet.

Find a flat screen TV and dual standard DVD player so you can bring your favorite movies and play them while admiring the view. We have installed satellite so you can watch CNN, CNBC etc. Find a second flat screen TV and dual standard DVD player in the master bedroom, so children can watch a movie while adults are enjoying a glass of wine together in the living room.

The stereo is on the bookshelves next to the couches; bring your favorite selection of jazz to play on our Cd player or choose for a small selection that we provide.

In between two French doors find an antique mahogany desk and free high speed internet access so you can download emails and work while admiring the view.

On the right of the double living room, find the dining table sitting next to the 18th century white marble fireplace. The table is of sand-blasted glass and dark Wenge wood, blending beautifully with the antique dresser, antique writing table and original oil paintings. The table expands to seat eight for memorable dining in the warm company of friends and family.

Spending time in Paris and time with family and friends is what a great vacation is all about. The view is spectacular, as you gaze out of the French doors. Whether this is your first or hundredth visit to Paris, you will be enthralled by the view after sunset, especially when the fairy lights begin to twinkle on the hour. Compared to what you would spend for tiny hotel rooms and numerous restaurant meals every day, you will find the space of our apartment rental, the view and furnishings excellent value.

Step onto the balcony and savor the view; a marble bistro table and chairs mean you can buy the Herald Tribune below and enjoy café’ au lait and croissants every morning – or toast your stay with champagne in the company of friends and family at sunset. The view and location are unmatched; Princess Caroline of Monaco owns a Paris apartment across the street, where the Royal Crest adorns every balcony of their apartment. Pinch yourself that you are in a better location as our apartment rental has the better position facing west and towards the Eiffel Tower.

We believe in offering an apartment rental with unforgettable views and fine furnishings; you invest a lot to come here and every occasion is special -- showing Paris to someone you love, getting together with good friends, marking a special birthday or anniversary, showing Paris to your children for the first time. We want all of you to fall in love with Paris and to return home with warm memories that will stay with you forever. The unforgettable view in dawn or sunrise, the warm furnishings in a beautiful luxury apartment all combine to make your stay a memory of a lifetime. We do almost no advertising because our guests come back year after year or send their friends and family.

Beyond the living room on your right is the master bedroom, a large room with balcony and fantastic view. There is a large walk in closet, extra wide queen-sized bed, antique dresser and lush blue/rust silk curtains. It is hard to get up in the mornings, as it is sheer delight to lay in bed and enjoy your stay. The beds have Sealy Pillow top Mattresses, the ultimate in sleeping comfort. The antique cherry wood headboard is from Italy, adding a touch of old world elegance and blending with the 350 thread count linens. The walk in closet means loads of storage for suitcases and clothes. (63inches rather than 60 inches wide for American queens). We have installed a second dvd player which is dual standard in this room, so you can let children relax while you are preparing dinner or relaxing in the living room next door.

There is an antique marble bistro table on the right, so you can work in privacy from the wirless connection. Plenty of good lighting for reading – something we find a must in our Paris apartment rentals.

Starting from the entryway again, find the kitchen on your left, with lots of counter space and cabinets for cooking. There is a full sized refrigerator/freezer, oven and microwave and four-burner stovetop top so you can cook to your heart’s content. We stock our kitchens with white porcelain from Dehillerin, the company that supplies the finest restaurants in Paris. In addition, find a Nespresso espresso and cappuccino maker, coffee pot, toaster and every accessory we think you might need for cooking. Paris and la vie Parisienne revolves around food; the advantage to staying in this wonderful quartier is that there are 3 open markets nearby along with the famous rue Cler – you can shop for the freshest ingredients and already prepared dishes daily and enjoy dining at home, with the most romantic view in Paris. A large window overlooks the courtyard for morning sun.

Having a kitchen and a dining room are among the many advantages of staying in a Paris apartment as you don’t have to go out for every meal, but can enjoy eating with family and friends without having to get dressed up every evening. The French have mastered the art of ready-prepared dishes and foods, so you don’t even have to cook to enjoy. Children love buying fresh warm croissants at the patisserie on the corner each morning, or choosing a special dessert after lunch or dinner. Our guests tell us that shopping for croissants and desserts is the best part of their children’s visit!

The powder room is next on your left with toilet and sink for extra getting-ready room.

Ahead on your left is the second bedroom with two single beds, large window overlooking the courtyard and built in closet. It is decorating in heavy cotton striped fabric and gives the room a fresh French country feel.

The mattresses are all new, Sealy Pillow top mattresses and are excellent to drop onto for a good night’s sleep. Our windows and French doors are all double-glazed for excellent noise insulation and the apartment rental is truly quiet, even though you are staying in the middle of Paris.

The bathroom is straight ahead from the entryway and has been completely remodeled with every comfort: double sinks, bathtub with shower and closet with separate, full-sized washer and dryer. Note that the shower head is a large fixed head with a second ‘telephone’ shower as well. We insist on fixed shower heads wherever possible – much easier than the telephone ones that seem to spray everywhere.

At sunset, enjoy a short stroll to the romantic river where you can catch the famous boat ride down the river. Walk to the Eiffel Tower and simply enjoy the architecture beauty from below or run up the stairs for exercise. The Trocadero is directly across the river, another beautiful walk…or take a longer stroll to the Musee’ d’Orsay, the Invalides or the Rodin Museum.

We leave a large selection of Paris guidebooks and other information on the neighborhood for you to peruse during your stay.

This is a non-smoking apartment rental and, sorry, but no pets are allowed.

We think this is among the most elegant and comfortable apartment rentals in Paris and our many guests agree! Please view our guest books on our site where guests have written about their stay with us, with their email addresses so you can contact them directly.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about our Paris apartment rental or if we can help in any way. We think your stay at www.parisperfect.com will bring you memories of a lifetime!

Please see our link on Paris Shopping for more details.

  • You are 20-minutes walk to the Place de la Concorde, La Madeleine.
  • 25 minutes to the department stores on Blvd. Haussman.
  • 25 minutes walk to the Bon Marché department store.

  • Rue Cler is five blocks away, one of the best and most famous streets for food in Paris; open every day including Sunday morning but many shops are closed on Mondays. Our favorite cheese merchant is here; tell them which day you wish to eat it and they will hand pick the perfect selection!
  • Pont de l'Alma is four-minutes walk and has the largest open market in Paris every Wednesday and Saturday morning.
  • Ave de Saxe is open on Thursday and Saturdays and is undoubtedly among the most beautiful in Paris. Find many organic and deluxe food stands.

Walk, run, play in 1 of 3 playgrounds, basketball court, go to the puppet theater or just sit and enjoy. Nearby skating and bike rental are fun activities, especially after strenuous site seeing. This is especially attractive for families, because children need to have time to enjoy playing along with site-seeing during their stay in Paris.
  • You are two blocks from the Ecole Militaire where Napoléon attended military school. This became Napoleon’s headquarters and housed his elite Emperor’s Troops in 1795. The buildings still show gunfire signs from the French Revolution in 1789 and the shelling when the Prussians declared war on France in 1870, to defeat Napoleon III. There are four statues on the façade representing: Might, Peace, Victory and France. The statue of Victory is of Louis XV. Few of them remain as the rest were destroyed during the French Revolution.
  • 10 minutes to the Invalides, a masterpiece of French Classical architecture built by Louis XIV. Napoleon’s tomb rests under the golden dome. Here is the Musée de l’Armée, housing maybe the finest collection of arms, armour and uniforms in the world; it is especially renowned for its enormous collection of Medieval Armor.
  • You are seven blocks to the incredible Rodin Museum; four blocks to Chirac’s new Museum of Ethnic Arts.
  • The luxury apartment is around the corner from the American Library, an institution in Paris where you can take out a daily membership and catch up on the news, read, and work and use their internet facilities.
  • In December and January the Eiffel Tower converts an area on the first floor into an ice skating rink 189 feet high above the rooftops of Paris. It’s free and the kids will never forget that ice skating!
