We love the 7th arrondissement for all of the cafés, bistros and restaurants that surround our Paris rentals. When you arrive, buy fresh flowers on the famous rue Cler. There are numerous flower stands here, but my favorite is on the corner of rue du Champs de Mars and rue Cler. You will want to wander down rue Cler to pick up the freshest fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses and pastries too. The nicest thing about staying in a fine Paris rental apartment is the fact that you enjoy having meals at home, rather than buying all of your meals at restaurants. The prices really add up.
Shop for all of your foods on rue Cler or at one of the three Open Markets nearby. The 7th is famous for its open markets, where merchants come from all over France with their finest foods and delicacies.
The Eiffel Tower is two blocks away from the Medoc Paris rental – climb up the stairs to the second floor, or take one of the two elevators that go up regularly. Get there early and come back at night when the magic light show begins, every hour on the hour for ten minutes. |
