Living Room of our Paris apartment

The living room of our Merlot apartment has a luxurious feel. The beautiful original features combine with two pairs of French doors. You will find yourself stepping out on the balcony to watch Parisian life unfold below and to watch the incredible view. We think that these features should be an integral part of your stay in Paris.
The sofa is very comfortable for sitting and napping. A twin trundle rolls out underneath to turn the sofa into two single beds for sleeping. An antique red leather trunk from China adds a touch of color; decorative fireplace on the right.
The antique commode and mirror sit between the French doors of our Paris vacation apartment. The exquisite commode was found in Normandy; the mirror at the Marché aux Puces.
The living/dining room faces due West and is warm and sunny. We restored the parquet floors, returning it to a mellow oak color. The antique commode is from Philippe’s town in Normandy – beautiful and excellent for storage. The big pots are from China.
The living room is cozy at night; it feels like home.
