My daughter and I just returned from your wonderful Sancerre apartment. Very spacious with every amenity we could possibly require. Comfortable beds, fabulous linens and comforters and the view of the Eiffel Tower was outstanding. Our kitchen was large enough for two people to work at the same time. Loved having cafe from our Nepresso machine each morning. The welcome basket was an added treat and was appreciated after a long flight. Was a wonderful experience to feel like we were true "Parisians" if only for a few days.
When we received your e-mail advising us of a cooking class being offered by Christian Constant, owner and chef of Le Violon d'Ingres, we decided to sign up for the class. But on the morning it was scheduled, we were apprehensive to take a whole day away from shopping and sightseeing to spend in a kitchen. However, we did decide to take Christian's class and it was absolutely fabulous and the highlight of our trip to Paris. With aprons on, nine of us headed into his kitchen. While his wife, Catherine, interpreted, we were given cooking instructions with lots of hands on time preparing soup, vegetables, meat and a wonderful dessert. Within minutes we were all friends learning helpful and informative cooking tips. Christian answered our many questions and the sampling of what he prepared was a real treat. After a morning of cooking and a toast with wine for the work we had done, we then walked to his other restaurant, Les Fables de la Fontaine, just a few doors away, and sat down as a group for a wonderful luncheon. With great wine and conversation flowing, Christian personally signed his current cookbook for us all. This experience was a "once in a lifetime" and if you have an opportunity we highly recommend you take this class. You will not regret it.
It was wonderful to meet Madelyn. She knows how to make strangers feel welcome in Paris. Madelyn, thanks for the advice to buy the paves at Michel Chaudun. They are the best!
I am already planning my next trip to Paris and will be contacting you soon for another visit to Paris Perfect.

Wow! What more can we say about the Cabernet appartment? What you see is what you get and more. Stunning views, great location, a friendly welcome. Paris remains a beautiful city and it gets my vote for the Olympics.
Our only dilemma? Should we share this little gem with our friends back here in Cambridge, England??!!!

We stayed in "the Cornwall" apartment in London. The location was excellent--very nice neighbourhood, close to everything yet very quiet. The apartment was bright and sunny and had everything you could need. Having in-suite laundry was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I, and our two teenage children, spent a week in the St. Emilion apartment during the third week of March 2005. The apartment worked perfectly for us. It is every bit as lovely as it appears on the website. The furnishing are all high quality and tasteful. The bathrooms are the best we've encountered in many trips to Europe. The kitchen has first rate appliances and is fully outfitted. The overall quality of the apartment is excellent.
The apartment functions well for a family of four. On some nights our kids shared the second bedroom (which has two beds), and on some nights one of them would sleep on the very comfortable trundle bed in the living room. They were happy in both configurations. The master bedroom is very comfortable and certainly big enough (especially compared to the size of Paris hotel rooms).
The neighborhood is wonderful. The apartment is one short block from the Champs de Mars. I went jogging there several mornings, doing the loop from the Eiffel Tower to Ecole Militaire. Having done my obligitory physical activity, I then had to choose between going to the patisserie next door to the apartment (which is quite good) or walking a few blocks to Rue St. Dominique or Rue Cler to check out the action there. Tough choice!
Metro access is easy, just a few blocks away. We used the bus system as well. Between the two, there's little need to use taxis (which generally require that you go to a taxi stand).
The neighborhood is great. Not at all touristy, but with easy access to major tourist attractions (Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, Rodin Museum, etc.). It's safe, clean and upscale. Madelyn's and Phillipe's restaurant recommendations were accurate and helpful. There are many good restaurants within walking distance of the apartment and we ate dinner out of the neighborhood only once.
All in all, St. Emilion was a huge success for us. We've rented houses in France and Italy and have never had an experience that was as good as this. We plan to return Paris next year and will definately rent a Paris Perfect apartment then.

This was my daughters' first trip to Paris and staying in such a pleasant neighbourhood, just a block from the Eiffel Tower and park helped make it memorable. The Bergerac apartment is comfortable, homely and well-equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Eating dinner with the view out of the window of the sparkling Eiffel Tower is unforgettable. There are lots of great restaurants and places to buy food (Rue Cler especially) nearby and we found riding the buses very convenient from both the heart of the Right Bank and St Germain/Latin Quartier. We hope to be back!

I travelled to Paris to attend a series of meetings, and due to the extended length of time away, decided to bring my family also.
Chardonnay was a very pleasant apartment, for Lindy and I , and our daughters aged 8 and 10. It was great to live as Parisians, rather than tourists, and certainly was much less expensive. While there it snowed, and our girls had the delight of playing in the Champ du Mars (2 minutes walk away) in fresh snow. The apartment had everything we needed, and with a supermarket 5 minutes away it was great to be ahble to do our own cooking if we wanted.
A really great stay.

Dear Philippe and Madelyn,
We have just returned from our European trip and this is our first chance to thank you for providing such a wonderful apartment in Paris.
Everything about Pinot was wonderful. The location, the wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower, the fact that it is excellently equipped, the very comfortable bed, the quiet neighbourhood all contributed to an unforgettable stay. We must also commend Carolyn on being a most gracious and warm host and making us feel completely at home. The touches of a beautifully set dining table and the welcome basket just topped it off.
We loved Paris and of all the places we visited in Europe it stands out as our favourite place.
We would certainly recommend your apartments to all (and have in fact told many of our friends and business colleagues) as being the only place to stay in Paris. When we return there is no doubt we will be seeking to stay in a Paris Perfect apartment.
Thank you again and kind regards,
Alison and David Kemp

What a joy to stay at your apartment on Rue St. Dominique! The neighborhood couldn’t possibly be better for a family to enjoy. The shops and shopkeepers were so friendly and helpful, their foods SO good. The proximity to Champ De Mars, Invalides and the Eiffel Tower was ideal. We were also surprised at how easy it was to walk from our neighborhood over to Musee d’Orsay or to the Champs Elysees and other great locations. We hit Paris during a particularly cold week, but still managed to walk miles and miles each day.
The apartment is charming and cozy, and even though it is small in the way of Parisian apartments, the four of us managed quite well. As a big coffee drinker, I appreciated the nice touch of the espresso maker and the Nespresso capsules. Your staff made our getting in and out pleasant and easy.
As much as we enjoyed seeing the sites, I must tell you that our very favorite times were coming back to the neighborhood in the evening, shopping for wine and cheese, baguettes, pastries and other food and sitting around your table in the candlelight enjoying being together as a family. Sign us up for another trip!
Thank you for the way you handle your rentals and the quality of your accommodations.
