After the six of us had a long ride from the airport (traffic) it was wonderful to walk into such a beautiful place as this! The view of the Eiffel Tower in the morning as the city wakes up over a latte to the view at night every hour on the hour of the light show! Definitely try all the local restaurants - mostly the Christian Constants on St Dominique but also we cooked two nights and bought everything from the local markets which was very enjoyable.
The florist next door is really superb and speaks fairly decent English. Also make sure to try local Jazz clubs in the Latin District - on La Blvd de Hachette...they play Big Band and have a neat dance floor.
Learn the "M" as it is your quickest way around. Drink lots of wine, eat lots of pastries and....have a picnic in a park!
