Why not to enjoy free concerts on a warm summer day at the Parc Floral de Paris? The Paris Jazz Festival offers up another calendar of excellent jazz shows for 2013. The Chopin Festival Begins in Paris

The Chopin Society once again presents its tribute to one of the world’s great romantic composers, Frederick Chopin, at the Chopin Festival 2012. The setting at the lovely Orangerie in the Parc de Bagatelle is ideal for hearing recitals of the composer’s work performed by hundreds of musicians from around the world. Velib 5th Anniversary Festival

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Paris' public bicycle system, Vélib, the Mayor's office is holding a festival on the world-famous Champs-Elysées.  The festival will run for 24 hours from Saturday 23rd to Sunday 24th June and include cycling courses for the little ones, musical enterainment and a relay that aims to raise funds for charity.

For cycling enthusiasts around the world the Tour de France is one of the most exciting races of the year. The 100th annual Tour de France starts on Saturday, June 29th and finishes on Sunday, July 21st. If you love cycling, it’s a unique experience to see the riders go by in any of the stages during the race. However, the most exciting way for many is to see the final stage of the Tour de France as the riders zoom through the streets of Paris on their way to the finish line on the Champs-Élysées.
