The apartment’s dining room wall is hung with three black and white pictures of old French doorways and the table is made from an old wooden pedestal, whitewashed to show off the beautiful carving.

An old clock hangs on the wall, just beyond the crystal chandelier. The pretty touches contrast beautifully with the chocolate leather dining chairs and modern appliances. Not as noticeably in the apartment pictures are the outlets to vent the mobile air conditioning units in the French doors. This requires special, double think glass in order to insulate for sound, but which a panel that opens to vent the air conditioners. For our guest, it means high quality and relatively quiet air conditioning that is extremely efficient on warm days and nights.
