One of the joys of spending time in Paris is to stay in a Paris vacation rental apartment so you can shop for delicious food and ingredients in Paris’ markets and prepare them at home. Our Pomerol Paris vacation rental apartment is special because it is located above one of the most famous market streets in Paris, Rue Cler. Named after a small but distinctive wine region in Bordeaux that produces delicious, robust red wines, Pomerol is the perfect name for this Paris vacation rental apartment on Paris’ most-visited shopping venue. Step outside every morning to buy fruit, vegetables, cheese, and fresh baguettes just below. There are so many food shops outside our Pomerol Paris vacation rental apartment that you will want to try different breads, cheeses, meats and pastries every day. Pomerol is a 485-square foot Paris vacation rental apartment. This rental apartment has one bedroom, 1-½ baths and delightful views towards the Eiffel Tower and over the quartier's rooftops. This rental apartment also has a mobile air conditioner, which vents to the outside, in the living room for your added comfort.

Enter our Paris vacation rental apartment to find the kitchen on your left. Our vacation rental is compact but has all of the appliances you might need to prepare a gourmet meal: under-the-counter refrigerator/freezer, combination microwave/convection oven, induction burners, coffee maker, toaster, Nespresso cappuccino machine. The rental apartment even has a top-of-the-line washer/dryer by Miele. The cabinets are made of beech wood with granite countertops and good lighting to cook by. The white porcelain dishes and pots and pans are from E. Dehellerin, the shop which furnishes all good restaurants in Paris. With a full array of cookware, you can shop downstairs on rue Cler and prepare your own gourmet meals.

The toilet of the vacation rental apartment is just beyond the kitchen, with toilet, sink, cabinet, and plenty of hooks for extra getting-ready room.

Continue to the vacation rental apartment living room, the piece de resistance. This is a coveted corner apartment on the 5th floor, so three pairs of windows open out to the view towards the Eiffel Tower and above the rooftops of Paris. It is a sunny room and wonderful to relax in after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. We built in three window seats which are covered with fresh blue and beige checked cushions so you can ‘cozy up’ on one with a glass of wine and a book, or simply enjoy the fact that you are in Paris.

The empire-style sofa bed is on your left with an armchair facing it. The sofa was made for us and we find it more practical and comfortable for guests than traditional sofa beds because it converts to two single beds at night. It is over two meters long and has a twin trundle bed which slides out from underneath, an easy solution when getting ready for bed at night. The mattresses are on wooden slats, meaning good support at sleeping and sitting. They are good for sitting on, for taking naps, or to convert to comfortable beds at night. We have these sofa beds especially designed for our Paris vacation rental apartments and our guests say they are excellent.

TV and stereo are on your right. As with all of our vacation rental apartments in Paris, you will find an American-standard DVD player so you can bring your favorite films. Our stereo system includes a CD player as well, so remember to bring your most romantic music. We leave lots of Paris guidebooks for you to peruse during your stay. We have installed a high speed dsl line which is free for you to use to answer emails and work.

An antique chest of drawers and mirror stand on the right and provide extra storage; a chocolate brown parson’s table with antique mirror sits between the two windows in the living area.

We imported the rental apartment dining table from Italy; it is made of cherry wood and is a good size for four people. The Italians are pioneers in using space efficiently as the table demonstrates; it can fold in half to become a console table for more space when not in use.

To the left of the sofa is the rental apartment bathroom, tiled in pale limestone with bathtub/shower and sink. Shelves above and below provide good storage. A dramatic touch is the lion’s head fixture in the bathtub, which children love. You can lounge in the bathtub or shower using the fixed shower head.

The bedroom of our Paris vacation rental apartment is next on your left, with a high-quality queen-size bed which we imported from Italy. There is a romantic surprise for our rental guests to the left from bed, the Eiffel Tower. We think the bedroom of this rental apartment is one of the most romantic in Paris when the magic show of lights twinkles for ten minutes on the hour after dark.

An important note: all of the windows are state-of-the-art double glazed, the same as used in luxury hotels. The vacation apartment is located in the middle of this bustling city, but is extremely quiet for a good night’s sleep.
