Description of our Paris luxury apartment rental

This stunning duplex apartment rental located on Paris’ beautiful Avenue de la Bourdonnais bordering the Champ de Mars Gardens features three large bedrooms, a living room that can sleep an additional two guests, and two and a half bathrooms. Our Richebourg Paris apartment rental is air conditioned, a rare benefit as you’ll see if you’ve search for Paris vacation rentals. The entrance and living quarters are located on the 6th floor, and a private, interior staircase takes you to the 5th floor with its three large bedrooms and two bathrooms. Of course, the piece de résistance is the fabulous Eiffel view, La Grande Dame de Paris, and beautiful Champ de Mars Park from your spacious living room and balcony as well as from two bedrooms.

All the features in our luxury vacation apartment rental are spectacular, but it’s hard to take yourself away from the balcony and view. You will find three large bedrooms, a spacious living room, a dining room, a full kitchen and two and a half bathrooms. This spacious and inviting home is one of our premiere Paris apartment rentals and sleeps up to eight people!

Enter this luxury vacation apartment rental on the cherished sixth floor (yes, there is an elevator) and step into a large, open entryway. A small water closet with toilet and sink is on your right – convenient as it saves you trips downstairs as well as frees up the two bathrooms below when everyone is in ‘getting ready’ mode. You’ll also find a large closet with separate washer and dryer on your right in the hallway. Immediately ahead of you is the interior staircase of our Paris apartment that leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms below, but a few steps further in brings you to an expansive living room on your left. This luxurious, sun-filled room has a long balcony and west-facing view – wonderful for lazing around in the afternoon and simply enjoying your special time with family and friends. As you continue down the entranceway on your right, you’ll find a large dinning room on your right with an adjacent kitchen. Downstairs are the large master bedroom to the rear of the luxury apartment, two large front bedrooms with views on the Eiffel Tower and park, a small bathroom with a shower and sink and a larger bathroom with a toilet, two separate sinks, a tub and a shower.

Enter the living room on the left from the entryway. The living is decorated in yellows and beige and is completely Parisian: two tall French doors opening onto a long balcony (with a marble bistro table and chairs), original fireplace, chandelier, parquet floors and decorative moldings. The huge living room features a writing desk with a chair and the first sofa that can be converted to two twin beds on the left side of the room. On the right side, in front of an 18th-century white marble fireplace, is a sofa and lounge chair surrounding a chocolate brown coffee table. The sofas are covered in a khaki-colored tweed, and the stylish and comfortable armchair is covered in a contemporary linen and velvet fabric from London – a touch that blends beautifully with the furniture, silk curtains and chocolate browns of the coffee table. Above all, the effect is comfort and luxury for your stay in Paris. It is simply wonderful to relax in and a welcome sight to come home to every day.

One of the long sofas converts to two separate twin beds at night and was made for us in Italy; it is the best style we have ever found. The technology is excellent engineering: the sofa seat extends to full twin bed width and a second twin bed slides out from underneath with even a headboard that pulls up to raise the legs. Our guests love having the flexibility of two single beds in the living, comfortable for every night sleeping. We prefer these long sofas to regular hide-a-beds because you can stretch out and catnap during the day – and have two separate beds for flexibility at night. Our silk curtains have blackout linings, but guests tell us they prefer to look out and enjoy the view until they fall asleep. The spacious, sunny living room of the luxury vacation apartment rental is excellent for enjoying the company of friends in beautiful and comfortable surroundings, or simply enjoy your time together – all part of a memorable vacation.

An important note: All of our French doors and windows have been replaced with the highest quality double-a glazing available, the kind used by luxury hotels. While you may be in the middle of a bustling city, your Paris luxury vacation apartment is quiet. There is air conditioning in the living and bedrooms downstairs. We have rarely needed it, but it is nice to know it is there.

You’ll find a flat-screen TV and a dual standard DVD player in the living: you can bring your favorite movies and play them while admiring the view. We have installed satellite so you can watch CNN, CNBC etc. Find a second flat-screen TV and dual standard DVD player in the master bedroom, so children can watch a movie while adults are enjoying a glass of wine together upstairs.

The luxury vacation apartment living room also features a stereo, so bring your favorite selection of CDs or choose from a small selection that we provide. You’ll also find an antique mahogany desk and free high-speed Internet access; you can download emails and work while admiring the view.

Step back through the wide living room entrance and across the entranceway to the elegant dining room, also decorated in browns and beige. The table is of sandblasted glass and dark Wedge wood, blending beautifully with the chandelier and paintings. The table expands to seat ten for memorable dining in the warm company of friends and family.

The luxury vacation apartment kitchen is on the right off the dining room and features plenty of counter space and cabinets for cooking. There is a full-size refrigerator/freezer, oven and microwave and four-burner stovetop top so you can cook to your heart’s content. We stock our kitchens with white porcelain from Dehillerin, the company that supplies the finest restaurants in Paris. In addition, find a Nespresso espresso and cappuccino maker, coffeepot, drip coffee maker, toaster and every accessory we think you might need for cooking. Paris and la vie Parisienne revolve around food; the advantage to staying in this wonderful quartier is that there are 3 open markets nearby along with the famous rue Cler – you can shop for the freshest ingredients and already prepared dishes daily and enjoy dining at home, with the most romantic view in Paris.

Having a kitchen and a dining room are among the many advantages of staying in a Paris apartment as you don’t have to go out for every meal. You can enjoy eating with family and friends without having to get dressed up every evening. The French have mastered the art of ready-prepared dishes and foods, so you don’t even have to cook to enjoy great French cuisine. Children love buying fresh warm croissants at the patisserie on the corner each morning, or choosing a special dessert after lunch or dinner. Our guests tell us that shopping for croissants and desserts is the best part of their children’s visit!

Descending to the bedroom level, the large master bedroom is at the back of our luxury Paris apartment rental and overlooks a quiet courtyard. A large closet is on your left for storage and a writing desk and chair next to the pretty bay window that overlooks the rooftops at the back. The queen-size bed is new and of excellent quality, decorated in Provençal-style toile de jouy fabric; it is extra wide at 63 inches wide instead of the standard 60” width. The bed features an antique headboard and two nightstands. The silk taffeta curtains add to the soft, romantic feel of this room.

The luxury vacation apartment second bedroom is located on the right front of the downstairs level. It has two single beds, each with a nightstand, and two built-in closets for plenty of storage space. A set of tall French doors overlooks the Champ de Mars Park and the Eiffel Tower, and the décor of yellows and beiges gives it a warm and cozy feel. We found an antique mahogany pelmet in London to put above the beds, with sher white curtains for a soft touch. The mahogany wood that the pelmet was made from cannot be found anymore; up close you appreciate the beautiful reddish color of the wood, carved with the family crest of a wealthy Victorian family.

The vacation apartment third bedroom is located on the right front. It also has two single beds, each with a nightstand, and three built-in closets for plenty of storage space. A chair and writing desk are included, and a set of tall French doors overlooks the Champ de Mars Park and the Eiffel Tower. A décor of blue and cream stripes gives it a French provincial theme.

The smaller bathroom on this level has a sink and shower; the larger bathroom features a shower stall, full-size tub, two separate sinks, and a toilet.
