The beautiful master bedroom came together perfectly, from the antique headboards to the pale striped silk curtains. Actually, the headboards were the footboards of an antique pair of twin beds that we found in an antique market. We couldn’t assemble the beds completely, because mattresses and people were shorter than they are today! They were so tall that we saved them to use as headboards in this bedroom. You will find the rest of the pair in the bedroom of our Paris Volnay apartment. Find an extra wide queen-sized bed: the top of the line from Sealy. A large closet is on your left with plenty of storage for clothes and even suitcases. The bay window overlooks the rooftops on your right. A pretty wood desk mean you can work in peace and quiet, while enjoying the view. Not shown is a flat screen tv, with dual standard dvd player so you can watch your favorite movies here. |
