Paris vacation rental apartment from the entryway

Into the dining room and kitchen

We love the contrast of the restored parquet floors, the large windows and high ceilings in the dining room and kitchen with the modern furniture in our Sauternes Paris vacation rental. The dark wood and sanded glass dining table, chocolate leather chairs and chandelier accent the room and create a warm feeling. On the far wall is an old ‘oeuil de boeuf’ mirror hanging above a white table.

The pale wood and sanded glass doors give an open feeling in the kitchen of our Paris vacation rental. The kitchen blends pale woods with sanded glass upper cabinets that are lit to give a soft light to the room. The countertop is temporary, and will be replaced with a chocolate brown composite top to match the leather dining chairs.

The round mirror reflects the wall clock on the left wall of the kitchen in our Sauternes Paris vacation rental.

We love this cheerful room in our Sauternes Paris vacation rental! A pretty fresco hangs at the end of the room with two rabbit coat hooks (Monsieurs Lapins) on either side. Beyond you see the spacious entryway with console table and rust shaded lamps. The door to the right of the entryway is the other entrance to the master bathroom -- there is a double entrance to the bathroom of this Paris vacation rental, from the entry and from the master bedroom for guest’s convenience.

The dining table was made in Spain (yes, we take full advantage of living in the EEC for our Paris vacation rentals -- locating the best small manufacturers throughout Europe) and expands to easily seat 6 or 8 people.

There are many small features that you don’t notice until you are living in a Paris vacation rental apartment, but which are important for your Paris apartment stay: we believe in plenty of good lighting so notice the chandelier in the entryway, dining room and living room. On top of that are uplights and lots of lamps so there is lighting for every mood, especially for reading!

Hooks are another thing –there are tons of hooks in every room of our Sauternes Paris vacation rental, especially the entryway and bathrooms. We weren’t finished putting them up when we took this picture, but there are now two hooks behind the front door and of course the charming double rabbit hooks.

You can see that the front doors in our Paris vacation rentals have extremely good door bolts and locks as an added feature. There is also a safe for your valuables.
