The master bedroom faces the courtyard of the building and is very quiet. It is decorated in pale yellows and taupes to make a warm and romantic room. A built-in closet for hanging is on the right as you enter. Next to the bed is a pretty balcony which overlooks the rooftops of the quartier.
The balcony in the master bedroom; it’s a delight to step out on the small balcony and look out over the rooftops. It’s a pretty view and a quiet room which faces the back of the building. A key difference between our apartments and many others in Paris is that we refuse to consider the apartment if the main view is towards the courtyard, or the back of the building. Why stay in this spectacular city to look down at the garbage cans in the courtyard or watch neighbors get ready for work? Our apartment windows and French doors have the highest quality double- glazing available so they are quiet and offer outstanding views. In St. Emilion, the main view is of the Eiffel Tower from the spacious living room. The bedrooms face the courtyard of the building. The lights of neighboring apartments start to come on after 7am as the Parisians get up for work.
High quality mattress, good lighting and even a flat screen tv mean it can be hard to get out of bed in the mornings! The headboard is painted to resemble the back of an antique Venetian bench; the pale colors go well with the bedspread and curtains.
