Across the street from our apartment in Paris find the Champs to Mars Gardens with four different playgournds, plus basketball court, merry go round, bicycle rentals and beautiful grass to picnic on! The location of our Tokay apartment in Paris is a rare feature because there are few open parks in the center of Paris. The Champs de Mars gardens which surrounds the Eiffel Tower is one of them and it is literally 2 blocks away. French families have lived here for generations and on Sundays you see the grandparents who love to take their grandchildren out to the same playgrounds where they and their children played. It’s a wonderful part of your vacation to come here, picnic and relax. In the mornings, you can run around them as the cadets from the Ecole Militaire do. |
