This bed also features a top-quality mattress and high-thread-count linens with red pillows and a beautifully patterned bedspread that matches the room’s upholstered armchair. The black-on-white patterned floor-to-ceiling silk curtains contrast nicely with the white cupboards, and the parquet oak floor blends well with the coloring in the brick wall. All in all it’s a bold modern design that pleases the eye and offers comforting warmth. Two wall-mounted lamps above the bed on either side of an early map of Paris provide excellent light for reading.
