Of afternoon shadows on church below

View from the Viognier luxury Paris apartment rental

Your view from the Viognier luxury Paris apartment rental.

We took this picture from the apartment living room balcony, as the sun was slowing descending and caught the sun’s shadows on the Church’s flying buttresses. These are, the stone supports that were used until the use of iron and steel to support the walls on the sides of Cathedrals. Notre Dame is the most famous construction with dozens of flying buttresses supporting the sides and becoming a feature of the Cathedral themselves. When you rent a Paris apartment, make sure you have Parisian views from your apartment – it makes even staying at home a real pleasure!

In this picture, you can see the outline of the stone urns that grace the building next to it and below, the quiet square in front of the church has its original cobblestones.

The building next to the church is stunning

The building next to the church is stunning. You can see beautiful stone carvings and decorations on the balconies. And you’re high enough to see blue sky beyond. This is one of the special features of staying in a luxury Paris apartment rental -- balcony views of Paris, sunlight and space – all the things that makes a Paris vacation relaxing and special.

Your luxury Paris apartment rental is surrounded by shops!

Your luxury Paris apartment rental is surrounded by shops!

Looking down and to the left off the balcony, many elegant and charming storefronts can be seen. It’s simply fabulous to step out of your Paris apartment rental and stroll among the nearby shops. It’s also only a few short blockse to the Musée d'Orsay, Musée du Louvre, the Bon Marche department store, the Luxembourg Gardens, and many, many more! You can just make out the sign Deyrolles, established in the early 1800’s and world famous as a taxidermist to King’s and Princes. Parts of the store have been let to chic gardeners stores but the unforgettable displays can still be viewed upstairs..
