This one bedroom, ninth floor rental will truly take your breath away with its panoramic, rooftop view of Paris. Named after the vineyards of Chateaux de Bordeneuve, this rare and refined find is as lovingly cared for as the wines the vineyards produce. Step out onto the Bordeneuve’s private outdoor terrace and gaze out over this grand and spectacular city.
The Bordeneuve is the perfect rental for a city break to Paris, for either business or pleasure. The beautiful open-plan living room and dining area is fully air-conditioned, making it a bright and comfortable space for a cosy evening in. The fully-equipped, modern kitchen adjoins the living space. It’s sleek design, with a fitted breakfast bar, will meet all your culinary needs. The bedroom also offers up luxury roof top views, while the sofa converts into a double bed for your travelling companions. The Bordeneuve has both a bathroom, with a shower, and a powder room for freshening up. The private balcony, adjoining the living room, is an extra special touch. On the ninth floor, you’ll be blown away by the cityscape. Why not indulge in an evening meal al fresco under the stars.
The neighborhood of Montparnasse today is still alive with the free-spirited atmosphere of the roaring 20s. Once home to Picasso, Sartre, Hemingway, and alike, this effervescent district retains many reminders of its bohemian past. Indeed, the large and peaceful cemetery at Montparnasse’s heart is now the resting place of many world-famous names. 5 minutes from the Bordeneuve, the local hang-outs of these intellectual spheres still serve up delicious French cuisine. Le Dôme Café, once popular among the American literary circle, is now a renowned fish restaurant. Closer still is La Coupole, a classic brasserie beautifully decorated in an Art Deco design, you’ll truly feel like you’ve stepped back in time for the evening. For a more casual style of dining, the Bordeneuve is a short walk from some first-rate open-air markets. At the Marché Edgar Quinet, you’ll find fresh produce and excellent hot food. Walk over to Rue de Montparnasse and grab a crêpe from one of the many Breton-style crêperies that line the street. You may also wish to spend the morning wandering the beautiful gardens of the Luxembourg Palace. Or, spend an afternoon perusing the many designer shops of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, just 5 minutes away on the metro. While staying in the Bordeneuve, make sure you visit the Rue de la Gaité. Once host to many popular cabarets, the street is now strewn with small, colourful theatres. Book a play at the Bobino theater and experience Montparnasse’s beguiling spirit. Finish your vacation on a high by visiting the panoramic observatory deck at the Tour Montparnasse, and lookout over the beautiful cityscape of Paris.
The Bordeneuve is only a 30-minute walk to the River Seine and the Gothic wonder that is Notre Dame. Alternatively, jump on the metro just around the corner and you’ll be strolling the Champs Élysées to the Louvre in 20 minutes. Travel only half an hour to the majesty of Versailles.
