We’re always searching for beautiful vacation rentals in Paris that capture the romantic allure of this city we love. Of course, that means when we find one we just have to tell everyone about it. (Yes, that’s you!) The mere mention of the term “rosette” evokes a soft and dreamy sensation, and that is exactly why our pristine Rosette two bedroom apartment lives up to its name, and also ranks high on our list of romantic Parisian getaways. With an enviable address very near the historic Place des Vosges in the Marais district, this vacation apartment is the perfect base for experiencing the history, culture and style of one of Paris’ most popular neighborhoods.
We adore the light porcelain blue touches (with specks of rose accents, naturally) that are found everywhere within the Rosette, from the delicately patterned queen bedroom to the chic adjacent bureau. As a result, the overall romantic ambiance of this vacation rental truly shines, with hints of the French countryside and classic royal-inspired accoutrements adding to the wistful and starry-eyed atmosphere.
That beautiful accent colors can be found around virtually every corner in the Rosette, and belies a surprisingly modern apartment which boasts all the comforts of home and then some. The ornate built-in bookshelf in the living room is topped off with a flat screen TV, DVD player and iPod dock, while the kitchen is graciously appointed with a wealth of modern appliances, including a stove top with four burners, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a coffee maker.
The beautiful appointments and décor were certainly enough to capture our initial attention, but we were doubly impressed with the way that the living areas of the Rosette can effortlessly adapt to any occasion. Sleek glass paneled doors and regal curtains can separate one room from another, or be drawn open with ease to connect the central living areas, allowing families to congregate after a long day in the city to swap stories with ease. This natural transition from a quiet secluded space to an open area for family-style gatherings sets the Rosette apart as a versatile and crowd-pleasing vacation rentals in Paris.
Naturally, location is everything, and with a prim setting in the undeniably trendy Marais District, the Rosette will appeal to our savvy guests who are fashion-forward and active, and who want to enjoy all the local highlights of this iconic city. Centuries-old history and culture still lingers in this neighborhood, and is intermixed with an acclaimed collection of modern boutiques and galleries, providing a world of engaging experiences found just a stroll away from the Rosette’s front doors.
Guests of the Rosette will be among the first admirers of the acclaimed new Picasso Museum, which is set to re-open on October 25th after years of anticipation. Not to mention the fabulous features of being walking-distance to the cutting-edge Pompidou Centre, the Opéra Bastille and iconic sites like Notre Dame Cathedral.
With that being said, there’s no shame in soaking up the local culture firsthand, and without an agenda, via a long stroll through the neighborhood or by enjoying a leisurely glass of wine at one of the artsy cafes that have enticed and engaged generations of Paris-loving creative types.
This cool combination of historic residences and landmarks and ultimate in-the-moment fashionable shops is nothing short of intoxicating, and is a great introduction to the City of Light for both our new guests and our frequent travelers alike.
