Eiffel Tower Glass Floor

Balancing act … two young women trying to brave walking on the new glass floor at the Eiffel Tower!

Visiting the Eiffel Tower is always a breathtaking experience. With the reopening of the redesigned and updated 1st floor it has become even more so with renovated spaces, a new discovery circuit and the amazing new glass floor 57 meters – 187 feet – above the ground! While the new cultural walk and education information in French and English on the first floor are fabulous additions, it’s the glass floor that’s sparking the most curiosity and fun with visitors. With a view straight down it’s no wonder why!

What a view … down!

While some visitors tip toe across the beams between the glass panels others find the view a thrill! Of course if heights looking down are worrying for you then you can just admire the views overlooking Paris. If you’re traveling to Paris with kids, this is something they might just love!

Of course, some brave visitors aren’t bothered by the view at all!

The renovation of the 1st floor this year marks the 125th anniversary of the opening of the Eiffel Tower in 1889. What better way to celebrate then with another great reason to visit the Eiffel Tower?
