Leftover Baguettes Make Great Croutons!

 |

Sweet Baguette

We always have leftover baguettes after meals. Instead of throwing them away, I slice them thinly and make these easy croutons for soup and salads. Store them in a plastic bag in the frig and use them whenever you serve soup or salad!

Approximately one baguette

Slice baguette into thin slices, between 1/8 and 1/4 inch

Chop  4 to 5  cloves garlic depending on how strong you like it.  Easiest trick is buy garlic puree in a jar or tube.  Add to taste, 1 to 2 tablespoons

Mix with 3/4 Cup olive oil

Add 1 Tbsp sea salt

Stir and use baster to paint over slices.

Put in oven at 380 degrees until toasted
