Paris Apartment Guest Reviews

"22 November 2004
My wife, another couple, and I have just returned to the States after spending eight nights in the Sancerre apartment in the 7th. The Sancerre is a lovely apartment, with French doors leading from each of the bedrooms and the living and dining areas onto a wrap-around balcony overlooking either Rue St. Dominique or Avenue Rapp. The apartment is tastefully furnished; the rooms are spacious and comfortable; and the location is ideal, convenient to the Metro as well as within walking distance of Les Invalides, the Rodin Museum, and the Eiffel Tower. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the apartment is incredible, whether in daylight or as thousands of tiny lights twinkle at night.

We recommend this apartment, whether you are a first-time visitor to Paris or an experienced one. Philippe and Madelyn are cooperative and pleasant in making arrangements, and they provide excellent information about the quartier. In our experience the apartment is an exceedingly cost-effective alternative to staying in a hotel, and it enabled us to get the "feel" of living in Paris."
