Market Tour and Cooking Class with Charlotte

The colorful food markets in Paris are famous for offering a huge variety of freshly delivered local and regional produce, which vary according to the seasons. Visiting a local market with an expert offers great insights into how the French choose the ingredients for their traditional recipes, and you’ll be in great hands with our Cordon-Bleu trained chef. After making the final purchases for lunch, it will be time for a leisurely stroll back to Charlotte’s gleaming professional kitchen just off rue Cler to prepare your three-course meal together. A great opportunity to learn the secrets of authentic French cooking, the dishes are carefully chosen to reflect the fruit and vegetables in season at the time of your class, and Charlotte keeps a note of your menu so that you can try something new every time you visit. You will also be handed a copy of the recipes at the start of the class, so you can take notes as you go.

After cooking together, you will sit down around the spacious kitchen and enjoy your beautiful lunch in a convivial atmosphere, with a glass (or two) of wine to accompany your meal. Guaranteed to be a highlight of your trip, Charlotte’s classes get fully booked in advance, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Tour Details

Market Tour and Cooking classes take place weekly on Thursday mornings. Please enquire if you would prefer another day for your tour and we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability and the weekly schedule of the local markets. 

We also offer Evening Cooking Classes, more information available upon request

Sessions are limited to a maximum of 6 participants. Minimum age – 8 years old.
