    • I have recently returned from Paris after a 10 day stay at the "Grenache" apartment.
It is a charming little place that suited my needs very well. The 7th is "my" area to stay in. The walk to the La Tour Maubourg metro via the passage Jean Nicot was convenient. There is also a good taxi stand at that metro station.

The Paris Perfect team is there for everything you could possibly need. They check in with you to see if all is well.

I have a reservation for another PP in April. I will be a regular for their places!

    • I'm late in my comments! I stayed in the lovely St. Amour! The Eiffel was outside all my windows. This is my favorite area with the bus access, all the Christian Constant restaurants around the corner. This is the best area in Paris to stay. The dedicated staff is there to answer any question and helpful en every way. And how can you beat Madelyn and Philippe. I am lucky that I have the new Meursault rented for a month in the fall. I am really looking forward to it and its great views, from up so high. I have also rented the Kir for a month in Spring of 2009 and now working on the fall of 2009. Paris Perfect is the way to do it... for me!!

    • We spent two weeks at the Kir apartment. The design of the space and location were perfect for us. We loved being so close to the Eiffel Tower and the Batobus stop. We loved meeting Madeline, who is a wonderful host. The whole experience was just perfect... Paris.

    • Our Beaujolais stay -- and location -- could not have been better. Perfect in every way, and a dream come true. But you know that from the other guests, so I'll tell you what my friends really wanted to know -- what were women wearing in Paris?
In May, women were still tucking jeans into boots. Saw quite a few on the street wearing Minnetonka beaded moccasins (79 euros at Bon Marche last spring, which was why I brought my pair from home; $27 at the local leather shop). Slip in a pair of good quality insoles, and you're good to go). Lace up espadrilles (red) seemed to be the major footwear of choice; wait until you find a pair for around 40 - 50 euros because they really run the gamut in price. Or shop here and bring them with you then pick up a second pair. They are really comfy and have a bit of a heel.

Many in jeans, which were fitted to the body and widely cuffed. Lots of cute jackets, and yes, scarves, the easiest way to perk up a travel outfit. Athletic shoes were widely worn, but they were the sleek, Yohji Yamamoto for Adidas style that sold out at Colette on rue Faubourg St Honore, a must stop for anyone interested in fashion or trends. Great music and gadgets for sale there, too, and a men's shop just across the street that sell the most wonderful shirts and ties at very good prices.

    • My husband and I celebrated my 40th birthday with two other couples in Paris. We had the most incredible vacation. The beautiful apartments we rented from Paris Perfect enhanced our visit. We rented the St. Emillion and the Bergerac apartments. They were both on the 6th floor of a lovely building. The best thing about this was we had the entire floor to ourselves, since these were the only two apartments on the 6th floor. Both apartments were beautifully decorated with many French antique furnishings and the views were to "die for". It was so much fun coming back every night and seeing the Eiffel tower all lit up right in front of the living room and bedroom windows. The apartment had all of the necessities we needed to enjoy our stay. We felt right at home. There was an espresso/coffee maker with coffee, hair dryer, a washer and dryer, CD player with CD’s, DVD player, books on Paris, wireless Internet access and much more. Two wonderful hosts welcomed us upon our arrival; they showed us all of the amenities. Each apartment received a nice bottle of champagne, orange juice and milk. The Paris Perfect staff checked in with us throughout our visit to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the apartments. The beds were extremely comfortable and the showers were terrific. The neighborhood was one of the best parts of our vacation, we ate at several local restaurants and we enjoyed the market place on Rue Cler. There were several wonderful Patisseries within steps of our apartment. The metro stop was close by and living among the local Parisians in an affluent French neighborhood was fabulous. You can't go wrong with Paris Perfect, because it is just that, "Paris Perfect"!

    • Dear Philippe and Carolyn,
Thankyou so much for your beautiful apartment. Prior to leaving Australia I did not think it possible to have such a magnificent apartment literally looking on to the Eiffel Tower. How superb at night.
The apartment was well appointed and we were close to a great patissiere and supermarket. Your coffee percolator was the best!! Each morning I would set the coffee going then go around the corner for the almond croissant and baguette. The family would have breakfast looking onto the Eiffel. Magic.
Some Australian friends have already booked in for next year!
      Merci beaucoup
      Lindis

    • Hello - I just wanted to thank everyone at ParisPerfect for an amazing stay at Chambertin. We absolutely loved the apartment - it was beautifully appointed, in a great area, extremely spacious - perfect for us with three small children! We felt like real Parisianers (sp??), eating breakfast (and sometimes dinner) in "our" apartment. We would recommend Paris (or London) Perfect to anyone - and we plan to - thank you so much for all your help.

Also, thanks so much for the lovely baguette holder and wine!

      Warm regards,

    • Hi Madelyn, Philippe, Carolyn and everyone at ParisPerfect. My husband and I have traveled to Europe many times and to Paris 5 times. We stayed at beautiful hotels and even an apartment in 2005. The apartment was nice, BUT, there was no view and the service did not measure. This apartment rental was on the travel channel. Still it did not measure up to the romance we hoped to see and feel in Paris. Then we discovered ParisPerfect. Just wonderful! Quality, care, class, just the best. We stayed at the Cabernet in Jume of 2006. The view, the kitchen, the gift basket and everything you can think of was provided. Everything is quality. In 2007 Sept. we stayed at the Volnay it was the same great quality. Each with its own character and personality. In the comments it says, "that the apartments are like Madelyn's children," each unique and special and that is what we saw. We are returning in Spring/Summer of 2009. Do not hesitate to try these beautiful apartments. Even with the weak dollar they are very affordable. The bonus of being able to cook in the complete kichen is remarkable. I never thought I would cook in Paris. What me go to Paris and then cook? Yes I did, with the view of the Eiffel Tower, candles, wine a gift from Philippe and the French Doors to die for. We hope you have as wonderful a time as we did. One last remark. It never happened in any of our many travels, that we felt safe. If anything were to go wrong it would be solved with the least trauma, even health issues. Peace of Mind. There is no price for that. Warm Regars Lee and Sandy Woodworth

    • Dear Philippe, Madeline and the Paris Perfect Team

For the 2nd year in a row my sister and I have stayed at one your Paris Perfect apartments. So far we've stayed at the Pomerol and the Champagne. Each apartment was absolutely gorgeous and they are in wonderful locations. We had everything we needed and appreciated all the extra touches. We could tell all the love that went into each apartment down to individual decorations. We loved having our morning coffee looking out French doors at the beautiful views and then after a day of sightseeing we enjoyed watching the sparkling Eiffel Tower while we relaxed over wine and our day’s market purchases. (Those were almost our favorite times). We especially appreciate all the extra Paris information you provide. It’s even fun the rest of the year just reading all your beautiful apartment descriptions. It puts us back for a few moments of remembering and future daydreaming. We hope to make this a yearly event. Thank you. Marty and Maggie - Tulsa, Oklahoma

    • We have made many visits to Paris over the years but this was our first time renting an apartment for the week. It made a wonderful difference having a place to come "home" to each night instead of going back to a hotel room. Chardonay exceeded our expectations for quaility and comfort.

    • Dear Madelyn,
Thank you for providing us with an absolutely gorgeous apartment in Paris as we celebrated our 40th anniversary. We particularly enjoyed the atmosphere of the neighborhood and the fact that there are four Christian Constant restaurants just steps away from the apartment on rue St. Dominique only added to the allure.

We look forward to staying with you again on our next visit to Paris.

      Warm wishes,

What can we say other than thank you very much for allowing us such a wonderful experience in Paris. The city was great- but no other memory can come close to having dinner and wine over looking the eiffel tower and the city. Our favorite daytime activity was going to the markets every day for provisions and learning the names of the merchants we frequented. The amount of attention to detail I observed in your operation is unmatched by the Ritz or the St. Regis. The on call doctor, the step by step instructions on how to use the appliances, and the compimentary nespresso cartriges were such a nice touch. The bottom line is that we could not have had this experience in a hotel.

Please use us as a reference if you wish as it is our desire, and in our best interest, to see your business thrive.

      God Bless

    • As we sit here on the night before out departure, my wife and I are commenting on the wonderful time we had in Paris and at your apartment. It is rare to find a destination where everything is just as promised, but we did find that here. Every service and restaurant you recommended was “perfect”. From La Fountaine de Mars, to the taxi service - and of course 17 Avenue de la Bourdonnais. We found our own destinations too. Since we are all interested in jazz, we made our way to the New Morning club to see a great local guitarist Nguyen Lee. The club owner recommended an isolated restaurant called Brasserie Flo on Petite Ecuries which was excellent.
I have friends and acquaintances acquired over the last 35 years that I would not hesitate to recommend your services to them. After high school, I toured US and Europe as a jazz trombonist playing with Ray Charles, Louise Bellson, Harry James and others. Later in life, I became involved in online/internet businesses starting in 1988 and have been in that field ever since. I now run my own business as a consultant. (Philippe, one of my clients over the last 2 years has been WebMD.com) There are so many friends I would recommend your services to – and look forward to sharing our experience with them.

Thank you again for wonderful time.

    • We enjoyed your apartment and it was exactly how I wanted to introduce my children to Paris for their first time. You have an excellent location and great taste in decorating. I loved the little antique shops, pastries, restaurants, and location of where you have your place. Thank you for letting us stay, it was a memory we will never forget. I will be sure to pass on your information to some of my dear friends about your beautiful apartment. What a treat it was to stay there. It was a memory that we will never forget.
      Sincerely,

    • My Mother surprised me with a trip to Paris to celebrate my 30th birthday!
We stayed in the delightful Cote de Beaune apartment in October 2006. Our experience was quite literally "Paris Perfect." We enjoyed the lovely apartment, and charming neighborhood.
Carolyn was so helpful in providing information and guidance. We really apprecited the "Yellow Book" guide of places to eat and thing to do in the area. It was so helpful!
It was such a treat to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle from our apartment window!
My Mom and I speak almost daily about when we will plan our next trip to Paris, and we will most certainly choose an apartment from Paris Perfect again!

      A bien tot!

    • We recently spent twelve days in Paris - nine days at Cote de Nuits and three nights at Sancerre. Both were lovely apartments and had stunning views of the Eiffel Tower. We felt at home in the neighborhood and loved rue Cler. The material provided by Parisperfect about the restaurants, shops, transportation etc. was very helpful. We referred to it constantly. Our original departure date to Paris was delayed and Carolyn booked us into a second apartment so we were able to extend our stay and not lose two precious days in beautiful Paris!!!! Allison and Alistair could not have been nicer and we loved the personal connection we felt with Philippe and Madelyn and the Parisperfect staff. We loved the restaurants Le Florimond and Cafe d'Alma. If you plan a visit, put those two on your list!!!! We have already booked an apartment for September of 2008 and are looking forward to another stay in the same area. December 2007

    • Amazing! Our experience with our Paris Perfect rental was absolutely amazing. We had rented the St. Julien suite but the building it was located in turned out to be having city water main repairs so Philippe and Madelyn upgraded us...to the Gigodas apartment. Wow! It was even more beautiful than the pictures show, with it's rooftop garden patio, big skylights which lit the rooms, and incredible architectural details like the curved wood ceiling columns.

It was just across the park from the other building we had rented the apartment in. Bus lines were almost right across the street. The cheese shop downstairs was incredible as was the butcher across the street and the Rue Grenelle market was just a short walk away on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.

The information packet regarding the neighborhood and Paris that was emailed to us after booking was very helpful in planning our trip. We were lucky enough to meet and spend several days with Michael Osman whom you'd mentioned in your packet. Father and myself immediately felt as if Michael were long lost family. He made our trip absolutely delightful and was a joy to be around.

The basket of welcome goods was a wonderful touch that was so appreciated after such a long flight to get there.

Truly...you helped make my fathers dream trip a wonderful and memorable experience for him as well as myself. I will certainly be back in touch with you about next fall when I hope to return again.

Thank you Philippe and Madelyn!is Perfect to all and would definately stay again in their apartments.
