Features a centuries-old cobblestone courtyard and iron gate
Stepping past the wrought-iron gates and into the courtyard of our Chassagne Paris apartment rental is like stepping into the past. The ancient cobblestone pavers, antique friezes, and wall-mounted lanterns from yesteryear set the tone for a vacation apartment that transcends time.
When you step off the elevator on the 4th floor (5th, American) and enter our stunning rental, your mind can't help but turn back to the days of medieval splendor. The expansive silk drapes around the many large windows are like colorful tapestries on palace walls, high beamed ceilings of limed oak are like the Great rooms of storied castles, and the marble floors are like the setting of a royal court. Yes, by staying in our Chassagne apartment you'll be living like the kings and queens of ages past, but with all of the modern amenities of today, including the comfort of air conditioning!
Antique friezes in the courtyard of our Chassagne rental
These antique friezes in the courtyard depict the hard work and simple pleasures of a bygone era. Carefully restored and artfully displayed, they are a pleasure to look at but also serve to introduce visitors to a most uncommon building, a structure with large rooms, wide galleries, and rows of large windows that are rare, indeed, in a city where most buildings share common walls.
Entryway resembles the galleries in a French palais
When you step into the entryway of our 1050-square-foot Chassagne Paris short term rental, you immediately encounter a number of striking features including towering beamed ceilings, shiny marble floors and large French windows that opening onto the medieval courtyard below.
We at Paris Perfect insist that all of our rentals have what we refer to as the 'Wow!' factor - a sense of surprise and delight that hits you when you first walk through the door - and our Chassagne apartment rental has it in spades.
We named this apartment Chassagne after the wine that is sweet, dense and clean, with nicely concentrated flavors of fruits, flowers, and spices. Like the wine, you'll find our Chassagne rental to be pleasingly refreshing as well as large and bright enough to remind you of blooming gardens on a spring day.
Equipped with free high-speed Internet, this makes a lovely room in which to work or catch up on your emails.
Apartment rental gallery opens onto the living room
Here you see how the gallery opens onto the living room and how the marble floors and beamed ceiling flow with it. So, too, do more windows down the right side of the living room and on both sides of the dining area, flooding this large L-shaped room with sunlight and providing gorgeous views of the ancient courtyard below. One of our first guests was a painter who fell in love with this room, because she could set up her paints and easel here and paint to her heart's delight.
This fully remodeled apartment has been designer decorated with the finest fabrics and features that highlight the space and light from all of the large windows, which are dressed in long silk curtains by Pierre Frey and give this Paris short term apartment rental a slightly Italian renaissance feel.
Looking from the gallery to the brightly-lit entrance
Peeking from the gallery back through to the brightly-lit entrance, you can see how the beautifully refinished oak doors and trim blend well with the marble floors and how fashionable sconce fixtures provide good lighting at night. The door in the background leads to a powder room up a short flight of marble stairs.
Stairs to the powder room in entryway
This close-up view of both the oak trim and the custom-cut marble on the stairs to the powder room is a prime example of the care and detail taken in remodeling this Paris short term apartment rental.
Living and dining room in the heart of Paris St. Germain
Your high expectations won't be dashed when you step from the gallery into the living room/dining area of our Chassagne Paris short term apartment rental.
There are a total of nine large windows in the entryway, gallery, and living room/dining area, providing great ventilation and giving this apartment an incomparable sense of light and space. In addition, there are fans for the bedrooms and living room, plus we've installed three portable air conditioners.
The two very large sofas were imported from the United Kingdom and their fluffy down cushions are so soft you'll sink right down into them and never want to get back up.
Comfortable armchairs add a touch of French style
Here's a close-up view of one of the two beautiful armchairs that grace either side of the fireplace, along with a glimpse of the gorgeous antique chest in the gallery. We love to use a pleasing mix of modern and antique-style furnishings in our Paris short term apartment rentals, providing both comfort and a flavor of Parisian living you can't find by staying in a hotel room.
Plenty of room to eat and relax
A view of the living room from the dining area reveals an attractive limestone fireplace (decorative only) at the front of the room before the sofas. It has been beautifully dressed out with two antique-style cushioned armchairs with burgundy highlights along with a decorative wall of burgundy that matches the opposite wall in the dining area.
This is an incredible room, and what makes it and our entire Chassagne Paris short term apartment rental even more incredible is that it was once the home of Frédéric Chopin's lover. Amandine Aurore Lucile Dupin, Baroness Dudevant, best known by her pseudonym George Sand, the French novelist and feminist, called it her 'Hotel Particulier' or Palace. You'll definitely want to email that little nugget of information home to your friends!

Oak dining table comfortably seats up to ten people
Another thing you won't find by staying in a hotel room is your own four-star dining venue. When you compare the costs and amenities between staying in a hotel room versus a Paris apartment, having a kitchen and a dining area is by far the biggest advantage. By staying with us you don't have to go out for every meal, but can still enjoy eating with family and friends without having to get dressed up every evening. The French have mastered the art of ready-prepared dishes and foods, so you don't even have to cook to enjoy savory French food. It's wonderful to be able to buy fresh warm croissants at the patisserie on the corner each morning, and children love choosing a special dessert for after lunch or dinner.
All of our Paris short term apartment rentals come fully equipped for cooking and setting an immaculate table. Just imagine yourself sitting down to this table, all dressed out with fine china and stemware, the breeze wafting between the windows on either side, and soft lighting from the chandelier and wall-mounted sconce lamps. This beats ordering from room service every time!
Beautiful dining table has large windows on either side
The beautiful dining table of our Paris short term apartment rental could easily pass for an antique, but in fact it's a sturdy, modern, and expandable table surrounded by eight antique-style chairs.
After a delicious and satisfying meal, prepared from the freshest of ingredients from nearby open markets, you can move over to the sofas to enjoy some evening entertainment at home. We provide a flat-screen television and DVD player, so you can rent movies nearby or bring favorites from home. It's especially fun to watch movies made in Paris, seeing who among you is the first to recognize the street scenes you've visited during your stay. You'll also want to bring along your favorite music selections too, as you'll find a CD stereo system in our Paris short term apartment rental, excellent for setting the mood.
Modern kitchen with plenty of counter space
The kitchen has been totally remodeled and outfitted with all new white cabinetry, countertops and appliances. The kitchen is also equipped with fashionable overhead and under-the-counter lighting, making it a pleasure in which to work, day or night. Also more pleasurable will be your visits to the nearby open markets, knowing you'll have everything at home you'll need to prepare sumptuous dishes from the ingredients you purchase. It's also fun to select wine, cheese, and fruits to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
A large window over the sink looks out onto the sunny inner courtyard and its wall of ivy and well-tended shrubbery. Swing the window open and let the fresh air flow in. Another especially nice feature is that this room can be closed off, so early risers can get a head start on their morning coffee without disturbing those still asleep.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and espresso machine
Chassagne's thoroughly modern kitchen features a refrigerator-freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, glass-top range, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea pot, and even an espresso machine! You'll also find all of the necessary cooking and serving accessories you'll ever need, including white porcelain dishes from E. Dehellerin - the shop that furnishes all good Parisian restaurants.

Beautiful Oak Closets Provide Plenty of Storage Space
Past the living room walk down a long corridor that is lined with beautifully refinished oak closets leading to the stairway of the en-suite bathroom. Having a lot of closet space is important in our Paris short term apartment rental renovations. We want you to be able to completely unpack, stow your luggage, and not worry about tripping over suitcases or having to rummage around in a suitcase looking for a particular item of clothing. We're never satisfied with the completion of our renovations or arrangement of furnishings unless we'd be happy to live in one of our Paris short term apartment rentals ourselves, because we want our guests to feel like they are staying in a welcoming home. We want all of our guests to experience living like a Parisian and come away with memories of a lifetime, never dwelling on shortcomings that seem to go hand in hand with hotel stays.
At the end of the hallway you'll find bathroom one, with bathtub, shower and sink. A nice feature about this apartment is the separate powder room with toilet and sink, good for extra getting-ready room.
Bedrooms Overlook Two Quiet Courtyards
