Our Calvados apartment is the perfect romantic retreat, with breathtaking views to match. Our array of Paris homes are beautiful: think stylish interiors, blissful balconies and views over the city’s rooftops, trees and historic avenues, including Eiffel Tower panoramas. Here are six more ways to impress your Valentine…

Admire ‘The Kiss’ at Musée Rodin

Perhaps Paris’s most poignant museum, Musée Rodin celebrates the sensual works of French sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917), who lived here. His famous marble statue ‘The Kiss’ (c.1882), of two naked lovers entwined, will get you in the Valentine’s Day mood. Admire other major works, including iconic sculpture ‘The Thinker’ and Rodin’s powerful bronze monument to French writer Honoré de Balzac. The interiors are sure to wow, as this museum in the 7th is housed in graceful 18th-century mansion Hôtel Biron. Another dreamy draw is the romantic sculpture garden, ideal for a stroll before sipping coffee in its leafy café.

Take tea at Ladurée

If love was a pâtisserie, it would be Ladurée, world-famous for its signature pastel-pretty macarons. Flaunting flirty flavors from rose and raspberry to orange blossom, vanilla and passionfruit, the macarons are perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day à deux. Treat yourself to a visit to the French brand’s flagship tearoom and store on Rue Royale, where its first bakery was established in 1862. Decorated with elegant frescoes, ornate paneling, and jewel-bright colors, it’s a 19th-century gem. Share delicate cakes, pastries, and savories, alongside tempting teas from the expert selection.

Stroll La Promenade Plantée park

La Promenade Plantée

Fans of the cult movie “Before Sunset” will adore a stroll along green corridor La Promenade Plantée, restored in 1988. A former 19th-century elevated rail track, between Bastille and Bois de Vincennes in the 12th arrondissement, it’s Paris’s High Line. The 4.5km linear park starred in a key scene in the 2004 romantic drama. On-off lovers Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) walked and talked here, and you can do the same. Wander hand-in-hand while soaking up verdant vistas. Gardens, flowers, arches, wild vegetation and pretty pools line the red-brick viaduct, with handy benches for getting cozy. Access La Promenade Plantée (aka Coulée Verte René-Dumont) behind Opéra Bastille at the corner of Rue de Lyon and Avenue Daumesnil, 75012.

Indulge with a Spa Experience

Enjoy a tranquil spa experience.

Sometimes less is more when it comes to romance – doing less and feeling more. Cue an indulgent massage for the pair of you. From a soothing foot massage to a candlelit aromatherapy body massage, a session will leave you relaxed and reenergized. Request a Thai massage (Nuad Bo-Rarn) to unwind knotted muscles or ask about pampering couple’s treatments. Spa therapies span 30 minutes to three hours, depending on which session you pick (book ahead). Bliss!
