"My husband and I just returned from our stay at Volnay. It could not have been more perfect. Beautifully furnished and a fantastic view from all rooms.
I couldn't wait to get up in the morning and have my coffee and bagette watching Parisan life out of the kitchen windows.
It was the perfect 25th anniversary. We can't wait to return."

"Bonjour, I recently returned from a week in Paris with my 17 year old daughter and three of her best friends. We stayed in the Bergerac apartment. The Bastille Day fireworks over the Eiffel Tour was breathtaking. Frankly, it was like living in a dream to wake up and go to sleep every night looking at one of the major "wonders of the world". We loved the neighborhood and took advantage of all your suggestions. I shopped in the local markets, etc. and we enjoyed many delicious breakfasts, appetizers and dinners in the luxury of our home away from home.

The apartment was charming, full of amenities, and Carolyn could not have been more helpful. We wish you continued success at Paris Perfect. Thank you for the "welcome" basket of goodies!"

"My family had the distinct pleasure of staying in your wonderful apartment on Rue St. Dominique during late July and early August. I think it was our best family vacation EVER (even with a tweener and a teenager and a lot of togetherness). For starters, the views-- from nearly every portion of the 5th floor apartment-- are unparalled. Le Tour Eiffel, Champs du Mars, classic cafes....;the apartment itself is beautifully decorated to put one in a decided France state-of-mind and the balcony is the perfect perch to people-watch. Despite scorching temps outside, the apartment was amazingly cool thanks to the beautiful French doors and shutters (and one or two strategically placed fans). Who were we to complain when the thermometer topped 40 degrees celsius (over 100+ F.) I don't even know where to begin with all the "little things" that make the apartment so livable and homey. We toured the City of Lights from dawn to dusk (OK, late morning til late dinner!) and it was wonderful to come back to an apartment so conveniently located and upscale. I doubt we will ever book a hotel room from this moment on if Champagne is available!"

"Six of my girlfriends and I treated ourselves to 60th birthday gifts to ourselves and spent 8 nights in Provence and 8 nights in Paris. In Paris 5 of us were in the Sancerre and 2 in the Champagne. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH FABULOUS WORDS ABOUT THE APARTMENTS AND THE PARIS PERFECT PEOPLE. I had started emailing Madelyn perhaps 3 years ago!! She was always very prompt and informative in her responses. The reservations and payment were all very seamless. Philippe made sure we had the information we needed and guided us through that process. One would never have to worry about booking online with Paris Perfect. Both apartments were as shown on the website and then exceeded our expectations!!! They were both spectacular!! The Tour Eiffel outside our dining room window was so close we felt we could touch it. We were entranced with the "Grande Dame" from the time we would wake up and come out to the dining room for coffee and then again when "She" was "sparkling" at night. We hated to close the shutters and windows to go to bed at night!

I was slightly concerned about 5 women with 2 baths and 1 WC with everyone getting ready to start our day in the morning. However, we all worked very well together and never had a problem. There were beautiful LARGE mirrors in both the foyer and living room of the Sancerre to put makeup on and also blow dry hair after showering if another was in the bathroom. Every single detail has been well thought out! The apartment contained lots of storage in beautiful antique chests outside of the bedrooms and large well designed closets or beautiful armoires in the bedrooms. The "Yellow Bible" of information didn't miss anything! We used everything in the apartment very easily! The Nepresso machine was such a treat for me!

The neighborhood of both the Sancerre and Champagne is WONDERFUL! The next time I'm in Paris at a Paris Perfect apartment, I'd like to just immerse myself deeply in the immediate area. Rue St. Dominique and Rue de Grenelle (and lots of other streets in the area) have wonderful boulangeries, traiteurs, fleurists, bistros, a fabulous coffee store, cafes, etc., etc. I wouldn't need to travel too far for anything and steeping myself in the area would be delightful!

I know I'm speaking for our group of 7 women when I say that our expectations were totally exceeded and we would all stay in these two apartments (or any of the others) in a heartbeat! However, the 2 1/2 weeks we were in Provence and Paris, the temperatures were in the high 80's to mid-90's with major humidity -- our next trip will definitely be in April/May or September/October. There were many days that we faded very early from the heat which, fortunately, left many things for us to see and do on the next trip!!!

Merci beaucoup and kudos to Philippe, Madelyn, Carolyn, and Sarah for making this dream trip a reality in a most seamless, fabulous manner."

"Dear Philippe and Madeyln,

We have just come back from the first 10 days of June in the Cabernet it was wonderful. You and your team have thought of everything. We did feel right at home. The bed was one of the most comfortable and we slept like babies. From the french windows there is a constant cross flow of air ,never hot. The welcome basket was very thoughtful, we did not expect and we will always have the bread sleeve. Thank-you. From our balcony we had a direct view of the Effiel Tower and we were sitting on the balcony all times of the day and night.

Our first night there we were jet lagged. My husband went to bed about 8:30, but I stayed awake until the great light show. As I stepped onto the balcony I thought how lucky we were to be in the most beautiful city in the world. I then went to bed with a smile on my face as I went to sleep. The last time I went to sleep smiling I was a kid and it was Christmas!!

Paris Perfect has the right name. It is as close to perfect as humans can get!! The best neighborhood, the best apartments, the best view, great gift basket, the best service, restaurants, banks, post office, shops of all kinds and the bus and metro almost at your door. We have traveled around Europe and find the French people very kind and friendly. We have been to Paris 4 times and this was the best by far. We hope you have as wonderful a time as we did in these immaculate apartments."

"Our family of three stayed in one of your apartments for a week in June 2006 and could have not been more pleased. The apartment was perfect for our family, with a pullout sofa for our 16-yr-old son in the living room and a corridor to access the kitchen, bathroom, and dining room without having to walk through the living room. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The information book provided with the apartment contains helpful information to get the most out of your stay in Paris. You won't believe the view of the Eiffel Tower until you really see it, but the website does a good job of picturing it! Carolyn was immensely helpful and very available during our stay. We enjoyed meeting her. Other highlights: Dinner at Le Florimond and at Fables de la Fontaine, both easy walks from the apartment. Equally fun was buying food and wine from the local shops to have dinner in. We especially liked nearby shops Comptoirs Richard for coffee and the boulangerie just a couple of doors down on R. St. Dominique. Find the wheeled shopping cart in the closet and head to the Point L'Alma outdoor market (two days a week) for a great shopping experience and wonderful fresh food. And take the night Segway tour to see the city with Fat Tire Bikes - a truly unforgettable experience! I would return to Paris next week if I could!"

"Our eight day stay in the Cabernet apartment was, as your name proclaims, "PERFECT!" The apartment is exceptionally well-furnished and equipped, very quiet, and the ever-present view of the Eiffel Tower is stunning.
With the advance information you provided, we easily acclimated to the neighborhood, and the shopkeepers and residents made us feel at home.

Paris was beautiful in late April; the flowers and plants were in bloom and the weather was just right for long days of exploring the city and visiting its many museums and monuments. Each evening we enjoyed returning to the apartment with wine and cheese and other delectables, kicking off our shoes, opening the French doors to the balcony, and luxuriating while the sun set behind the Eiffel Tower.

In short, it was a "Paris Perfect" holiday. We look forward to being your guests again."

"Thank you Madeline and Philippe for creating such a perfect travel experience through your beautifully appointed apartments. We just returned from two weeks in your Bergerac Apartment with our 6 1/2 year old son (our first trip abroad since he was born). Our time in Paris was magical. Paris is a living museum and it is hard not to be taken by its history and beauty. Our days were full of sight seeing, picnics in the many beautiful parks Paris has to offer, kicking the soccer ball around, sampling Berthillon's various flavors of ice cream, visiting some of Sean's favorite paintings, quiet rides on the Batobus, noisy rides on the Metro, insane rides in the Cab, shopping on the Rue Cler for dinner, practicing our french and this list goes on. There is nothing like coming home to a sun-drenched, warm and lovely apartment on a peaceful tree-lined avenue. Bergerac created the space for us to enjoy gourmet food from the Rue Cler, sample french wines, stay in touch with our business, and for one ecstatic 6 1/2 year old to eat dinner in his pajamas followed by a lightshow on the Tour Eiffel -- really quite amazing.
We are both marketers and sensitive to promises that companies make about their products or services. Bergerac was everything we expected it to be. You have done a perfect job of detailing this lovely space. We arrived on a grey misty morning in a rather jet-lagged state. The apartment was warmly lit, Carolyn awaited with enthusiasm and we were thrilled to find that it was exactly what we expected.

The experience of living in Paris as a guest for two weeks was made complete by having your apartment as our homebase. I cannot imagine travelling another way with a small child on a trip like this. To have the space and amenities offered by Paris Perfect in a hotel would have cost much more. And I doubt a hotel would have offered us the use of a scooter, so that our son could happily scooter the whole of Paris (like many french children). This was an unexpected pleasure for the whole family as it afforded us the ability to walk much more of the city, and delighted our son, who never once complained of too much exploration.

We leave Paris full, stimulated and inspired to continue to travel with our young son in this same way. Thank you so much."

""Do you know that feeling when you get off a long flight, and you're excited, but tired, and a strange, but beautiful city is so bewitching, but for the moment all you want is a cup of tea and a chair and a moment to relax and take it all in? Well, that's how we all felt when we arrived in Paris ( some for the first time) this
past March, and when the taxi pulled up in front of the address, I wondered if our ""home"" for the next 8 days could be as sweet and welcoming as I needed it to be at that moment...well, it was, and then some...Merlot was a charming, peaceful haven...we watched the children on their way to school in the morning, and at evening, the Eiffel Tower transformed into a light show. So much better than a hotel room, Paris Perfect creates a ""home"" for you, and that, my friends, is the cream in the eclair. Au revoir. See you in Paris! ""

"WOW! What a wonderful experience I shared with my sister, daughter-in-law and granddaughter staying in the Romanee apartment viewing the Eiffel Tower each night! We loved the neighborhood and shopping for breakfast and dinner and chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!! The apartment was so comfortable and exactly the way Madelyn presented it in her promotional materials. All the special tips and suggestions before and during our trip were put to use. Each time we had a decision to make or a question to ask we referred to Madelyn's book in the apartment and always the answer was there. Everything was so organized it made our Paris visit "Perfect"! We'd never stay anywhere else in Paris. From the much appreciated welcome basket after a long journey to Victor taking us to the airport on our journey home - we felt safe, cared for and secure staying with the "Paris Perfect" team. Thank you Madelyn, Phillipe, Carolyn, Isabella and Victor! We will return!

"Your Bergerac apartment was, indeed, "perfect" for our needs--and after our wonderful week there in March 2005, we are happy return customers, looking forward to a London stay with Londonperfect.com this year.

We will certainly recommend Paris Perfect to friends (even at the risk that your bookings will become more difficult to make!)--and hope that we are able to return again. You have helped create some beautiful memories for our family--and for that, we thank you.

Our week in Paris would not have been the wonderful trip it was without the comforts of Bergerac to return to each afternoon. Both of our granddaughters are "nesters"--and as soon as we returned to the apartment late each afternoon, they would promptly disappear to "their" bedroom to read, talk, list to their CDs, and whatever else preteens do--leaving us adults free to enjoy our break to ourselves before we set out again for dinner. Kate, age 13 especially loved Madelyn's decor--said she'd like her first apartment to look just like it! (She's our budding artist--and left her rendering of Bergerac's Eiffel view in your guest book). We celebrated her 13th birthday with a chocolate mousse cake from the patisserie--and the Eiffel Tower cooperated with its sparkling light show just as she blew out the candle. What a wondrous evening!

The girls became fast friends with the two women who run the patisserie next door--they even exchanged gifts on our last day. They laughed at French tv's version of "American Idol," loved ordering their meals in French, were awe-struck at being able to see so many of their favorite Impressionist paintings (the Marmotten is a real jewel of a museum), were amazed at the variety of birds at the Sunday bird market.

Thanks, Madelyn and Philippe. . . so glad we found your perfect Paris lodgings."

"We stayed at the Pomerol apartment in Novemeber '05. It was a beautiful apartment, immaculately kept. The staff and owners were was very helpful and accomodating, and their recommendations were better than any guidebook. The location was ideal - right above Rue Cler, a lovely market, and close to everything. We found being in an apartment was far more comfortable and private and way better than a hotel and would recommend parisperfect. I expect we'll try to sample some more of PP's offerings in future."

"Paris has served as the book-end of 3 previous vacation trips to Europe, so when my husband and I were planning our 50th birthday/20 anniversary/no children vacation, we knew it was time to give Paris our full attention and we also knew we wanted an apartment in the rue Cler area.

When I discovered ParisPerfect I knew that I would plan our vacation around when I could book the apartment I wanted. Our trip turned out to be all that I hoped it would be, and Pomerol was a large part of the success!

We spent 10 days "playing house" out of our lovely, well-planned apartment. We breakfasted on local baked goods and fruit with the Eiffel Tower in sight. We picked one neighborhood a day, walked until we could no longer move, and always knew we could stop off at our comfortable apartment for a short (or long) rest. On days when we ate a large restaurant lunch, we knew we could always find something delicious in the markets on our street to make a light dinner. Every evening, no matter what time, we would stroll the Parc du Champs de Mars for the day's last look of the tower - and it was always there again in the morning, framed in the dining area window!

We planned our trip for the early fall when the open air markets would be bursting with lovely goods, and I highly recommend that visitors take advantage of the bounty these vendors bring into Paris every day.

Thank you Madelyn and Philippe for the thought and care you have put into your properties. This was a dream vacation!

"Philippe and Madelyn,

What can I say but truly spectacular was my recent stay at Cabernet. For my first trip to Paris I must say that this was the way to go. It was like being at home except with a great view! All of your helpful hints on the neighborhood were greatly appreciated. I would like to add a few more stops to try for dinner. La Casa di Sergio at 20 Rue de la Exposition is a very charming Italian restaurant and the chef owner Michael is very friendly and personally comes out and greets each table. I recommend the prix fixed dinner and let the waiter make the selections and you will not be disappointed. The next place is Bar A Vins at 68 Avenue Basquet. The menu is in French and English and the food was absolutely incredible. Try and sit outside as it gets rather warm inside from the heat of the kitchen.

Thank you again and I look forward to returning and staying at another one of your apartments.

All the best,"

"Thankyou, Philippe and Madelyn, for offering your beautiful 'Cabernet' apartment to Carol and I this past September.

The views of the Eiffel Tower were incredible, and the apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed your espresso machine in the kitchen...each morning started with a fresh late, pastry and fruit...ahh, Paris!

We also appreciated your referral to Victor, who drove us from the train station to the apartment, as well as taking us on several other excursions (and to the airport). His calm demeanor and knowledge of Paris made specific driving efforts through the City very relaxing and enjoyable...well worth the extra money (as opposed to a taxi)."

"My husband and I just returned from a week in Paris, where we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time! We've only been in Europe once before, on our honeymoon. For this special anniversary trip, we selected Paris because of its reputation as one of the most beautiful, romantic cities in the world. After planning for the trip for over a year, you can imagine that our hopes and expectations were pretty high. Paris exceeded them all! One very special aspect of this vacation was staying in the lovely Pomerol apartment. While some other Paris Perfect apartments are more spacious, we chose the Pomerol so that we could be right on Rue Cler. We loved the idea of being able to go down to the street at our leisure each day, wandering among all the street stands of the local merchants, buying fresh fruit, bread, pastries, cheese, wine, etc. All the shop owners were very warm and friendly. The cafes in this area are very vibrant, filled with local Parisians more than tourists. The Pomeral has such a charming ambiance! Madelyn and Philippe have furnished and decorated the apartment so beautifully! It is obvious that the comfort of their guests is very important to them. Comfortable bed, soft sheets, fluffy towels, a great shower, a very well appointed kitchen, etc. It was so unbelievable to be able to sit at the dining room table late in the evening, with the windows wide open, listening to the lively chatter from the cafe down on the street, while watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle. From now on, whenever we think of Paris, we'll remember the charming neighborhood and fabulous apartment that we called home for a week. If we ever go back, we'd definitely want to return to the Pomerol."

"We rented Merlot with our three young children for a week in August. It was a lovely apartment with everything you need when you are traveling with children- laundry, dishwasher, and equipt kitchen. We will surely go back - the views of the eiffel tower are stunning- merlot does not have a head on view, but if you sit on the small balocony you have a spectacular view.
It is a very nice location to walk the city of Paris and we loved being close to rue cler, the great markets for fresh food...
In my opinion, it is much nicer to stay in a lovely apartment if you are there for a week or more- you can really settle into the culture."
