Paris Marathon

7 April 2024

Runners, lace up your shoes for the Paris Marathon, which will take over the streets of Paris on Sunday, April 2, 2023. The route offers plenty of fine sights along the way as it passes through the Place de la Concorde, along the Tuileries, around Place de la Bastille, down to the beautiful Bois de Vincennes, along the Seine past Notre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower, through the Bois de Boulogne and to the finish line near the Arc de Triomphe. What a triumph indeed!

Foire du Trone

April 2024

The Foire du Trone is a massive fun fair with a history dating back to the 12th century. Now one of Europe’s largest temporary fun fairs, the Foire du Trone draws about five million visitors every year. Located in Pelouse de Reuilly in the Bois de Vincennes park southeast of central Paris, the fair has rides, live entertainment, circus shows and lots of unexpected fun. This year is the spectacular 60th anniversary of the fair, usually running through May but cut short this year due to the Olympics.
